I read a few reviews about Los Primos and I figured I’d check it out for myself. I read a review about the California burrito plate being dry and no sour cream. Well, I ordered the California burrito plate and guess what? Dry burrito, no sour cream and the beans and rice were sub par. The beans have that straight out of the can flavor. The rice was dry and little flavor. The cashier was very nice and very pretty. The food took about ten minutes. The plate also came with a drink total $ 10.99. Next time I’ll go to Roberto’s taco shop where I can get their awesome Carne Asada burrito and beef taco plate with rice and beans for $ 9.50. I’ll pass coming here again. Just because you are located in Eastlake doesn’t mean you can charge up the the wazoo for subpar food.

Avoid like your life depended on it! I ordered 3 rolled tacos not only were they over price, the cook burned the crap out of them. I can still taste the burnt bitter taste in my mouth. Advice: If you want really good mexican food go to west chula vista.

While watching MasterChef junior on my DVR… I was disappointed last night after I brought home my burnt hard shell chicken tacos and soggy flautas. I wasn’t sure what was going on last night, but the cook must have been checked out. A big part of me wished one of those MasterCheck Junior kids were cooking for me… Nevertheless, I donated $ 17 to Los Primos last night… Merry Christmas The hard shell chicken tacos were so bad I couldn’t eat them, let alone feed to my dogs. Their mini tacos we ordered were good though. Los Primos is what it is… a cheap generic franchised Mexican taco shop. Fortunately, there are many options of great Mexican food outside of Eastlake. On a side note… I don’t understand the previous Unilocaler’s ignorant comment about Latin and non Latin customers. Food is Food and Good Food doesn’t take nationality into account. There was definitely nothing to appreciate here. Way to keep up with the times

I was there with my granddaughter last night. The front counter girl is either overworked or plain does not care about the facility. We ordered our food and I went to the bathroom to wash my hands. The bathroom door is right off the dinning area. The bathroom was disgusting. The toilet had the biggest poop floating around in it. I had to quickly walk out without washing my hands. I told the girl working in front. She gave a bunch of excuses. i.e. «It does flush, people just don’t flush», «I don’t have time to clean it» «I’m busy» etc. That bathroom door opens up right into the eating area, How gross! So I asked if she had hand sanitizer to clean my hands. We ordered rolled tacos and you eat those with your hands. She said ‘Nope” and walked away. So I then figured I would take them home and eat them there. I had hoped to eat at the taco shop so my granddaughter could see the snow flake show. My rolled tacos came out and sat on the counter for over 5 mins. The cooks kept calling on her to pickup. She kept going in and out of the back and the counter-area to put carrots in the fridge. I waved her down after several attempts to get her attention to hand me my food. She kept saying ‘its not yours’. She finally handed me our food; which was the same food that was sitting on the counter for awhile. The place has gone downhill since the other girl left. The owners need to take heed. It only gets the 1 star because it was warmer inside the taco shop than it was outside. My granddaughter and I left to the other Los Primos off Proctor Valley Rd. We give them 5 Stars. Place was clean, girl in front was nice and welcoming; there is a Men’s and Women’s bathroom. It was clean-I washed my hands and enjoyed dinner with my granddaughter there. But no snowflake show. It’s not bad but it’s not wow. It will do for a Mexican food fix. The good thing is it’s always clean and service is great. Meh…

First time eating here. Not the greatest customer service. The food was sight and tasted like ass. Ordered a churro tasted like it came out someone booty hole. Ordered a burrito was okay but chicken had no taste. Salsa tasted like water. Better off eating at Taco Bell.

Never coming here again. Went there today to get my favorite burrito(Chile Verde Burrito«Wet» w/Mole sauce) only come across a green rubber band in my mouth while I was half way into the burrito. I went in and kindly asked the lady for a refund only to be asked for my receipt and that was it. I was not asked if they could give me something else in return or anything like that. I was not even told«I’m sorry». VERYRUDE. Am not referring anyone to go here.

I don’t understand the 1&2 star reviews people are giving. I actually like this place, it’s a good little Taco Shop, it ain’t the best but it’s good. At first I didn’t understand why so many bad reviews but then I read them & notice MOST of the reviews our from NONLATIN customers who of all places live in EastLake mainly. So then I understood, those people don’t know real MEXICANFOOD& appreciate it, they think Lollittas Taco Shop is real Mexican food & to me that’s white Mexican food. This place is better. First the customer service is good, the times I’ve come here there friendly & fast & they give out FREECHIPS& Lollittas does not succeed in either of those 3 things I just mention. And this place has a soda fountain which most Taco shops don’t, it’s also real clean & they got Tv’s to watch sport games(I watched the Charger game). I’ve had there Menudo it’s pretty good & there Abondiga Soup & I liked it & yup Lollitas does not serve Abondiga Soup. My kids love there Roll Tacos with real guacamole. My wife loves her chicken tostada. My favs are the Carne Asado Tacos & there Wet Carne Asado Burrito it’s very big. I wanted to give it 4 stars but I got to admit it’s pretty pricey but I understand it’s located in EastLake so that’s why I’m sure the rent is high. But that won’t stop me from coming back. Me & my family like it here so we will be coming back for sure.

I usually come here either my family and there was never any issues. We loved how great and inexpensive the food is. Today, I went to grab some California breakfast burritos for my coworkers and I in the ingredients in states there was sour cream. So as we eat we figure half way down it should be there, still no sour cream. I called the store explaining the problem and the associate was willing to exchange them. When I get there the manager tells me the exact opposite stating that half was eaten and basically stating its something they wouldn’t do, but she exchanged them anyways. I’m not sure if the associate on the phone didn’t speak to her manager before saying it was okay but there was clearly a lack of communication there. I will not be recommending this place to anyone anytime soon. The food wasn’t the big problem it was more so the service and how I was treated when it was a mistake they made. The front desk associate was Beatriz and the manager was Claudia.

Ordered the ½ order of buffalo chicken fries. They are not kidding when they say HALF. More like half ASS. For almost $ 6 I got chicken that wouldn’t feed an anorexic model. When I told the cashier I wasn’t happy she just told me that was the size and didn’t offer to make it right. She just went on clean the counter and ignore me. Also ordered the monster burrito and there was barely any taste… For $ 12 there better be a lot of flavor! I can’t wait for the Lolita’s to open off of Lane Avenue this summer in Eastlake. Have never liked this place and keep giving it chances but it has never impressed.

I ordered 3 breakfast burritos. 2 of them were supposed to be bacon, egg, and cheese, but it did not taste like bacon. I think I was ham or something. So that was disappointing, and it tasted just ok. I think I could have done better making it at home!

I came here a few years ago and wasn’t impressed. The hubby had a coupon for a 619 burrito so I was down to give it another shot. I ordered the chicken taco salad and there was no flavor, I didn’t even finish it and I’m a piggy that can throw down. So yeah. I won’t be coming back.

Came here for dinner. I ordered the California burrito combo that came with rice and beans. It also came with a drink. My husband had a coupon and tried to claim it but the lady denied the coupon. Oh well. I was disappointed. As we waited for our order, we helped ourselves to the salsa bar and free tortilla chips. I got the green chile verde salsa and the regular salsa. Very good salsas. Once we sat down, our orders came within 10 minutes. I took a bite of my California burrito. It had carne asada meat, cheese, salsa and potatoes. There was no sour cream or anything else. There were hardly any potatoes in my burrito. I had to keep putting the green salsa verde sauce in my burrito to keep it moist. It was good with the salsa but a little disappointing. The refried beans were cold and not heated up. The rice was flavorful but also needed to be warmed up. For the combo including the drink, I paid $ 9.99. I think that was a little steep in the price. I can get the same combo for $ 7.99 elsewhere. I managed to finish up my food because I was hungry. They have Pepsi products which I don’t care for. I drank the Sobe cranberry flavored drink which is less in calories. I don’t like Pepsi soda products. There was plenty of seating inside. Most people were getting their orders to go. We dined inside. There is a parking lot across from the business. I don’t think I will be back. This location is a little too far for me. I think I will stick to my local favorites in IB.

Lady at the counter was SUPER rude! I had 7⁄8 of my stomach removed and can’t eat full portions. I explained that and she said I had to order an adult meal. She told me the kids meal was for kids under 12 and I was obviously NOT a qualifying person. I said I didn’t want to eat there. She said goodbye and called for the next customer. We should have the right to choose from any meal on the menu. This has never been a problem with ANY other restaurant I’ve been to. Kid’s meals are actually the perfect portion for an adult. Adult half portions are larger and much more expensive than a kid’s meal. Why buy more than I need? I beg anyone who is considering eating here to go elsewhere!

There are plenty of other taco shops that are worth the drive and a lot cheaper. Ordered. Full order of Carne Asada Fries cost is $ 9.29+ tax and most taco shops pack the box and can feed for 2. But this place basically a half order. setting: 4 stars food: 2.5 stars service: 3 stars This place is convenient if you don’t want to drive far but the quantity and quality is not worth it and it’s expensive.

Their lucky they didn’t get a one star. Their carne asada fries are good, that’s why they get an extra star. But their food sanitation practices are a fail. I ordered from them for the 3rd time and ordered a burrito. A few hours later I had the worst pain in my gut. It was food poisoning. They were the last place I had eaten and was making dinner when it hit me. I was in so much pain I wasn’t sure if I was going to vomit or pass out. It was a seafood burrito and I don’t recommend it. If you want to take the chance to eat there, then order something that you know gets cooked every day like carne asada or maybe chicken too. I think they don’t get enough sea food orders so the sea food must have been old, undercooked or both. Please be careful what you order.

Consistently Good(not great) Mexican food, probably and overall 3.5 or 3.75. I find the service good and their daily and weekly specials help stretch your dollar. Salsas are always fresh(can’t always say that about Rubios). Their Monster burritos are the bomb. Fav here though is anything with carnitas!

I was craving a California Burrito somethin’ fierce so I came here for the first time. It’s a small, pretty quiet place. We came during dinner on a Sunday and it was nearly empty. I ordered the CA burrito with steak and added guacamole. Overall it was pretty tasty but lacked on the seasoning. The steak and fries both could have used some salt. The tortilla was delicious and fresh. The saving grace was their salsa. I went through three containers because it really needed that extra flavor. The salsa bar offered a chunky pico de gallo, a smooth red salsa, a smooth green salsa, whole peppers, and a carrot/onion dish. I used the red salsa and it was very tasty! It had a little kick but not too hot at all. I would come here again because of the convenient location but I have had better CA burritos.

I’ve been going here for 4 years and today is probably the last time I’ll be coming. I used to love this place… Used to. Way to over priced now for the small portion they give you. They used to always stack my plate i don’t know what happened but anywho The teenage boy angel?(I could be wrong but that’s what it says on my reciept) was rude and asked me for here or to go. I told him I was going to eat it here he said«you do know we close in 30 minutes right.» I’ve been working in restaurants since I was 16 and never once have I ever rushed anyone out of a restaurant. From now on I’ll drive the extra miles down otay lakes rd to Lolita’s
