From the moment I walked in, I noticed the nice décor and saw it was well maintained. I had the chicken and steak bowl and I can really taste the freshness of the meats. I will recommend it.

This is the third time I’ve been here and will be my last. I gather it’s trying to be a combination of Japanese and Korean food. As with the other times there was no greeting at all. When I paid my bill, the girl spent a stupid amount of time looking for a pen so I could sign my receipt. I ordered the steak plate which says it is a larger portion with salad and fruit. The steak was ok but the salad lettuce had been previously frozen mixed in with carrot strings. The fruit was half an orange. They had a container of scallions in the front and I think another container of peppers, both where almost empty. It would be nice if they took pride in their establishment and acted like they actually like being there. I’d be surprised if they last much longer.

I have to admit I was really hesitant to go here but dang it a coupon is a coupon and the bills were already piled high after Christmas! Unilocal ratings were all over the place and none from Unilocal pals that I knew. You know your concerned when your thoughts are«Please just don’t let me get sick.» Well I didn’t get sick! But just as important is that I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked my meal. Being that I was way tired of beef and chicken from the holidays i ordered the salmon plate. I know, kind of risky paying more for a place you have reservations about. Hey if I’m going to take a leap of faith might as well go all in. When I got my plate the first thing was«Dang that is a lot on here.» A generous helping of brown rice topped with a decent sized salmon. The salmon was actually cooked perfectly! Not some desiccated hunk of cardboard that you could get at some chain seafood places! Score! The teriyaki sauce that is on it was very tasty with just enough sweetness and just enough saltines that when mixed with the rice made for quite the filling meal. The plate came with a side of salad which was standard. Fresh thankfully. It also comes with fruit but I substituted that with steamed veggies. The veggies were okay but a bit dry. I remedied this by getting some extra teriyaki sauce to dip. My wife and kids ordered chicken and steak bowls. Both the meats were good but didn’t wow me. I must say that the bowls are good sized and in retrospect I’d save a little and go with a bowl and not a plate next time. We liked it enough to all agree to keep it on our list of fast casual alternatives. See what happens when you set the bar super low? It’s only up up up! Kind of how I think of the Chargers and Padres.

This restaurant is clean and nicely decorated. The food is a cross between Korean and Chinese. It is okay in flavor. I ordered the grilled chicken salad, thought meat average taste.:-( Okay if you are really hungry and don’t wait to wait in long lines.:-)

I just grabbed a quick snack from there– their vegetable dumplings. As I was waiting for them to make my food — I listened to each one of those employees(3 of them) make little comments like how«there’s an extra charge for no meat– $ 10. Extra dollars» & then the other two were commenting on the fact that there was no meat which was the least popular option. I even saw one employee open my food container & show the other employee mockingly — they were mocking my food choice from their restaurant. Extremely unprofessional– it is none of their business to comment on what food the customers order — and if you do– make sure the customer isn’t right there listening. This place would get 0 stars from me if that were possible. I will most def. be taking my business elsewhere.

I am an Asian American so I may have high standards for Asian flavored food but I must say the meat was mediocre. Some was over cooked, some was undercooked. The service was slow and when I walked in, I saw the cook eat straight from the meat he was chopping. Unprofessional and unsanitary. This place needs better management.

I’m new to the area and stopped in to try out K Grill. I loved the friendly, down to earth customer service. In addition the food was fast, fresh and amazing. I live near by and will be visiting often.

Been here twice. The food is ideal for me since I been heavy into working out lately. They serve brown rice, grilled proteins and steamed veggies. It’s equally delicious as it is nutritious(haha). But no really it’s good and the portions in the bowl are more than enough, I actually can’t even finish the bowl in one sitting. Btw the number listed on Unilocal belongs to Tapioca Express a few doors down.

Horrible… wanted to try it and first impressions look ok. After waiting for 20mins went to the front to find out our order wasn’t even placed on the line to get made. Nothing but sorry. Don’t waste your time.

So, came here on Sunday on a whim. Upon walking in, the layout looked pretty clean, and the open kitchen is pretty cool. That’s about as good as it gets. We were standing in line where there was a female cashier, and a guy standing by the cashier waiting to clock in. He was talking on his phone, touched all the stuff around the front counter where transactions were handled. After we got our drinks, we watched him walk to the stove and start working. No hand wash, no gloves. Then, he drops one of the rice bowl containers on the ground. Being a delightfully profit minded employee, he picks it back up and puts it back onto the stacks! AND then proceeds to keep scooping rice into the bowls!!! We tried to be discreet in getting our money back, but then after we talked with whoever was supposed to be in charge, the guy goes outside and calls his manager Gustavo. As we walk out, he says«I’ll call my manager to see what the problem is.» We overhear him talking about how he «tried handling the problem,» to which I wanted to Roflcopters but didn’t cuz that’d be almost as unsanitary as their kitchen practices. Lack of cleanliness and integrity. Sad day for BBQ :(. At least the Chargers won today!

This place is extremely fast, fresh, cheap and delicious. Impeccably clean with one of those new pseudo vintage digital coke machines. Very high quality food and extremely healthy. Salmon, short rib, steak, chicken, basically every delicious meat you could imagine here… Their bowls are akin to meal prep meals but much tastier. The quality of the bowls is unmatched. Fresh EVERYTHING! Not a veggie wilt in sight! I’ll be back. I hope this little place flourishes! Oh– and the portion sizes are HUGE! If I were using this food as actual meal prep I could have divided it into 4 meals for myself… Great place.

Just discovered this place & I really liked it. From the food to the customer service & how clean they are. I got a Chicken Plate on white rice with veggies & avocado & it was good & filling. My girl got the Shrimp bowl over white rice & she liked it as well. The miso soup was ok just add some Sirachie sauce. And what I love is if you want more Teriyaki sauce they have a little pump with warm Teriyaki sauce in it & you can get as much as you want. I Plan to to get a Chicken Steak plate next time & then go for there little ribs, they look good. Love how the place was clean the whole time & they got a couple TV’s so you can watch sports or a show. They got a little outside patio which is nice & a water fall next to it. The customer service was very good too. The register girl was very nice helpful & polite. The cooks made there food fresh & you can see them get you’re meal ready if you want. My order was done at a good time I didn’t wait long. And if you do wait a bit people understand its FRESHLY made! So stop crying & if you what fast food then go to a fast food place not a place that serves FRESHFOOD. Some people just complain no matter what. Any who, I really liked this place & if In the neighborhood I will come back(which I am on weekends) & order from here. Good food, good service & good area.

I gave the 3rd star solely on the very helpful girl that took my order. The food greatly lacks in flavor. I ordered the grilled chicken(over rice?) and it was chopped up into tiny pieces like I was going to feed it to my toddler. The dumplings(shumai) were dry. I was surprised that the chicken wraps that I ordered for my husband were wrapped in flour tortillas, nothing wrong with tortillas I just prefer to have mine with Mexican food and not Korean/Asian food in it. I was expecting an rice paper wrap but that didn’t matter since we took a couple bites and threw it away — no flavor and chicken was tough. Disappointed. I was hoping this place would be a quick, express place to get Korean BBQ.

People are complaining about the wait?! Lol then take your ass to little Caesar’s and grab a cardboard pizza to go. This place is amazing and friendly. Somebody complained about 5 bowls in 20 minutes? Lady learn how to cook then. The wait is worth the good food.

I came in couple of days ago and I wasn’t bad it was ok. it took a bit long but I didn’t mind the wait. It was fresh and tasty but I felt full and heavy. I ate slowly but I felt heavy. Either way I would come again

The décor is new which is great and all, but the food is what it is about. I walked in and placed my order two plates. One with the ribs and the other with chicken. After waiting about 20mins for the food, which is ok if the food was worth it and this place failed to deliver. The ribs have a lot of fat on them and not a whole lot of meat, they did have a little flavor, but not worth the $ 10.0. The chicken was completely bland, zero flavor with small bones throughout the chicken. Both plates come with rice white or brown, a small salad and half an orange. I guess I expected more from this place, but first impression was not good for us unfortunately. I give it two stars for the décor and friendly counter girl.

Took two of my grandkids here today for lunch. They both had the shrimp plate. It had 4 skewers with 3 medium size shrimp on each. The plate came with rice, salad and some sliced orange. I asked them both to rate their plate for Unilocal and they both gave 5 stars. I had the steak and chicken plate. It was tender and the teriyaki had good flavor. You have a choice of brown or white rice. They also have carrots and jalapenos you can help yourself to which was nice. The total cost of 3 plates was less than $ 30 with sodas. I thought that was a good price for the food you get. Have to agree 5 stars!
