Came to this spot with a couple buddies. Might I say they actually know how to keep their food replenished. Salt & Pepper Wings & Shrimp was so delicious. Definitely the most bang for your buc. All you can eat style buffet. Doesn’t get better than that…

My parents like to come here for the buffet. I really like the veggies and the salt and pepper shrimp. Food is good. Not amazing but for $ 12/person, I can’t complain. The Mexican woman working here was soooo nice. It looked like she was working by herself at the dining area and it was pretty busy but she kept a smile on her face and always made time to check on us. The 4 star review is mostly for her great service. :) This place is pretty tiny so I wouldn’t recommend for large parties.

Great salt and pepper crab! I however dislike the receptionist because she has a rude tone to her voice and she seems she dislikes her job. Please get a new receptionist.

I went to this buffet-style place following a recommendation from my boss. As soon as I walked in, I felt like a sardine in a can! This place is packed! I was by myself but they didn’t have any single tables. The hostess said if it was okay if I shared a table with a complete stranger? That was definitely a first. I was really hungry hungry so I didn’t mind too much. The actual food area is quite small… there’s only 2 small sections. One that contained the main food items and the other had appetizers and deserts. Needless to say that this place doesn’t look kempt. There’s food spilling all over the place but that’s because there’s so many customers walking around grabbing food! A good $ 12.50 buffet will do that. I decided to go with the noodles, broccoli and beef, orange chicken and egg rolls. I was pleasantly surprised! The food is actually flavorful! The broccoli was firm and tender, the Orange chicken had a nice snap, as well as the egg roll. There were other options but I liked it so much that I went had 3 plates of the stuff. The only thing things that kinda knocked it down a few pegs were that it was so crowded and the that I had to sit with a complete stranger. I wasn’t too much of a fan the Jell-O for desert either. That had ZERO flavor. I will coming back though. The food was great and the staff was friendly. **I give this place 4 crunchy egg rolls out of 5**

It was my first time going to this restaurant… I order noodles and rice to go. i get home 15mins later and start to eat with the family. my 5 year old nephew says that something tastes bad. he spits it out and its a dead spider in the food. I immediately call the restaurant and tell them what was in my food and that i need to speak to the owner or manager. The person on the phone quickly respond saying that I put the spider in the food so i asked for his name and he didn’t want to give his name. so i called the Health Department and reported the incident. i believe similar issues have happened to customers here since the person on the phone quickly had a response… I won’t go back and i hope they lose customers. Worst customer service in history.

Their food is great, no complain about it. I am extremely disappointed with their customer service. I came in early in the afternoon to pay for an order that was to be picked up at 6:00PM that day, I was told that the latest I could do pick up was 5:30PM, I was ok with that. I get here and did not get the food for a party until 6:50PM. I understand it is a busy day, but why did they ask me to pay in advance if my order was not going to be ready for pick up and the time they said it would be.

Small and unassuming place with lots of good food for a very decent price! Came here for the 1st time on Xmas Day with my family because we were in the area and my Mom recommended it. They offer stuffed crab, S&P crab, S&P shrimp, fried shrimp, S&P chicken wings, fried chicken, roast chicken, char siu(BBQ) pork, thin and thick noodle dishes, fried rice, steamed white rice, soup, fresh fruit, and jello to name a few! There are no names to the food options, but if you’ve been to a Chinese buffet before you know what you like so you’ll know what to get! Don’t let the 3 stars put you off to this place! Give it a try and you shouldn’t be disappointed. I’ll be ordering food for parties from here from now! This place surprisingly gives Royal Mandarin a run for their money!

They get one star because i cannot give them any less and rate them. Its too crowed no standing room it you want to take it to go. I found an insect in my food. Also the guys with a blue shirt are very unprofessional yelling and belittling thier employees in front of costumers. Poor woman had to leave to compose herself. I am sorry but thats very unprofessional, infested food I WILLNEVERGOBACKYUCK. PEOPLEGOFORQUANTITYNOTQUALITY.

This place is always packed FORGOODREASON. the quality is not gourmet by any standard but considering the normal consistency of non buffet Chinese spots this is AMAZING. I always think of kanye on 808s when I say that«your amaaazzin, your amazzzzin»

China restaurant on 3rd Ave. in Chula Vista, is a small eat all you can buffet style restaurant. I go here when I’m craving for their deep fried crabs with shell and all. Their stuffed crab is so delicious and freshly cooked. This place could get crowded as the place is small, but there is always parking. For just $ 13 a person it’s a great price especially with over 20 different menus you can choose from. There’s soup, meat, poultry, vegetables, seafood and of course, noodles. Unlimited water or soda to drink. The staff are very friendly too, always on the move to take your empty plate off your table.

Discovered their fried chicken via my mom who did take out. Apparently it is a relaunch of an older Chinese restaurant. I only want to give three stars since I haven’t actually been there. The fried chicken has a great flour coating to it with a lot of spice(it’s not salted pepper but they do sell that too). Reminds me of home cooked chicken by mom. They do sit down service as well.

If you like endless greasy, fried, heart burn inducing Chinese food this is the place for you. Food is ok but try their stuffed crab cake is good. This place needs some updating although their table and chairs looks new. Try not going to the restroom it’s hideous!

Huge portions for the price, I really liked this place actually until last year in January I got FOODPOISONING. It’s very cheap and definitely a bang for your buck but after that experience I think I will pass on this place.

The place is FILTHY. One of the cooks put a salt/pepper shrimp that had fallen out of the tray back into the tray(I guess he lazy to throw it out even though he should have known it was contaminated) and just mixed it back in with the rest. I couldn’t believe it. Disgusting. I am never coming back. It made me wonder what goes on in the kitchen.

The food is juicy and flavorful. I really like this restaurant except for the size of the restaurant which is small if you get the buffet. They are generous with take out orders and will fill the tray!

Awesome no frills place. Good service, the staff is bilingual and helpful. The food is fantastic at a ridiculously low price! Get ready to feed the whole family with twenty bucks worth of take out. Highly recommend

Usually hit this place when were down in South Bay craving inexpensive Chinese food. For the same price as combo plate at Panda Express or Pick-up Stix you can eat all you can for just as much(around $ 10.xx per person). I usually get the garlic battered crabs that’s hidden in the back corner of the buffet trays. Aside from that I like the garlic hot wings, bbq pork, hong kong style fried rice. The other chicken dishes like Orange Chicken and Kung Pao Chicken are So-So. Dessert is somewhat limited consisting of mix fruits, variety of jellos and almond buttered cookies. If you like greasy and cheap Chinese food can’t go wrong with Chinese City.
