History

Established in 2006.

As a Residential Real Estate Consultant with Coldwell Banker West, Hazel Rosete works with buyers and sellers alike, helping people throughout San Diego County realize their real estate goals. In addition to achieving the Leading Edge Society Award in 2011, she has earned the Certified HAFA (Home Affordable Foreclosure Alternative) Specialist in 2010. Before her real estate career, Hazel spent numerous years as a Software Specialist in both the banking industry.

Equally as important is Hazel’s education and experience are her extraordinary interpersonal and communication skills. Hazel definitely is focused and driven by her clear and consistent communication with all of her clients, and sincerely enjoys interacting with others and meeting new people.

I had the pleasure of meeting Hazel earlier this year. My dad was lucky in finding her.
Hazel helped sell our family home of 17 years in less than a month. The process was swift because she was so prompt, efficient, and experienced. She also found my dad a new home to buy in a fast amount of time. I know he’s happy with how she handled the selling and buying.
I was initially hesitant to deal with a realtor. I thought there would be tons of sales pressure involved. She connected with us in a way where she felt like family, and I felt that she had our best interest at heart. She was always available to respond to any questions or concerns we may have had. She checked on us often when we were in limbo with negotiations, and I never felt like we were just a sales number to her.
I feel bad that it took me 6 months to finally write this review, but I wanted to see how we felt about the process well after all of the contracts were signed. My opinion of her has not changed. She deserves her great reputation, and I would highly recommend her. I know who to call when I’m ready to buy or sell a home.

I had such a great experience with Hazel. She is so amazing at what she does. Not only is she professional and on top of her game, she’s a sweetheart. I have met other realtors while home shopping but if you want someone who will do everything they can to make that deal then trust me Hazel is your girl. She is well known and respected in the industry, at all our showings the other agents knew her and spoke highly of her. I knew we were Blessed when we found Hazel. I will refer anyone who is house hunting to her because she’s the best out there!

Hazel was referred to me by a co-​worker, as i was in the process of relocating from Anaheim. My only wish would have been that I hired her to help me with the sale of my property in Anaheim.
A little background — my listing agent in Anaheim was about as helpful as a wet towel… There were major hiccups and Hazel assisted my wet noodle of a listing agent in ironing out the issues. I would have not have been able to close on time without her help (free of charge). On to the sale… The short sale bank approved our offer but changed the normal 30 day escrow to 15 days!!! Quite the whirlwind… Hazel brought all of the documents from the seller bank and with my lender to get everything completed within the 15 days.
She knows the industry and can provide exceptional and personal service with whatever you may be looking for. She is extremely patient as we looked at over a dozen homes and made offers on several. She was always positive and never let me «settle». I got exactly the house I wanted without having to sacrifice anything. Hazel is the best, don’t settle for anything less than perfection. Choose her, you will be glad you did.

Hazel was referred to us by my brother-​in-​law, who bought a house with her help a few years ago. After my husband and I completed our credit repair, we ended up with the names of several Realtors but we are so glad we chose Hazel. She is friendly, professional and knowledgeable — which is extremely important for me, as I ask a lot of questions — and helped make the roller-​coaster that is house-​hunting so much more tolerable!
We scoured the Chula Vista/​Otay Ranch/​Eastlake area for weeks, and used her expertise to our advantage. She was honest and gave sound advice on communities, homes, and floor plans. She listened to our concerns and understood our Wants vs. our Needs. She responded to our emails and questions quickly, and in most instances we were looking at houses same day! I was impressed by her vast knowledge of the real estate industry when it came to explaining the home-​buying process to us, on top of using my husband’s VA loan (and handling my million and one questions overall).
We began our home search mid-​March 2013 and made about four offers after seeing 20+ houses, condos, town homes, and fixer-​uppers. I decided to sign up for Unilocal and write my first review for Hazel Rosete all due to the fact I am writing this from my lovely new dream home that she has helped us attain (we closed end of June!). Honestly, I cannot recommend her enough. With this changing and competitive market, what’s most important is getting the job done and she does just that — I am sitting in 2400 sq. ft of proof right now!

A few years ago I decided I wanted to invest in Chula Vista real estate. I needed a real estate agent specialized in that area. I asked around at work and someone referred me to Hazel. I am so glad I got in touch with her.
Hazel knows Chula Vista like the back of her hand, but she’s not limited to that area and knows many areas of San Diego well.
Hazel is just amazing. She is absolutely the best real estate agent I will ever meet. I don’t know where to begin to say how great she is. She loves working with people and helping them find their dream home or good investment properties whether they’re home buyers or investors alike. She always makes you feel like you’re her only customer. In other words, she is very service oriented. A lot of real estate agents have quite an attitude. Not so Hazel: she is very humble and always puts her clients first. And all she wants is for her clients to be happy.
The last year and a half has been a very competitive real estate market and a very complex market with most sales being short sales. It was hard to get an offer accepted. I am convinced that a good portion of the properties that I was able to purchase, was purely because of Hazel’s personality, assertiveness and negotiating skills. She is the nicest person you can imagine, non confrontational, and has a good head on her shoulders. She is very professional and smart, knows how to «advertize» her buyers and she gets deals accepted for her clients. She knows real estate inside out and is very familiar with the intricacies of short sales.
A while ago at work someone sent an email that he was concerned his agent was «playing games» with him. I replied that if he wanted an agent who doesn’t play games, he should contact Hazel.
I could go on and on, but in summary, I can wholehartedly recommend Hazel. If you decide to work with her, you won’t regret it.

We hired Hazel as our Real Estate Agent late last year. She was referred to us by our close friends who hired her as well for their home purchase. We had a few other realtors that we were referred to as well, but we decided to go with Hazel and we’re glad we did.
Hazel was professional and took really good care of us. She partnered with a really good lender that looked out for us financially. They made sure we were comfortable and were ready to purchase our home. This was our 2nd home purchase as we had short sold our condo 4 years ago. She listened to whatever comments we had and answered any questions.
Whenever me and my wife found a home we wanted to look at, we told her about it and right away she would inquire about it and take us to go see the home. It seemed like everyday we were emailing her about different homes and she would get back to us on the status of each home.
When we finally put an offer on a home and it got accepted, she was always on top of it getting the status and see where they were with the approval.
Whenever we had any worries or doubts, she always made us feel good and assured us of everything. If I had to go through the home buying process again, I would hire Hazel again in a heartbeat.
