Freeway Auto Wrecking

Horrible business. They sold me a lemon of an engine with a really weak warranty. By the time I found out everything they did to me the warranty was already expired. Engine was not the year they promised, kept overheating, and when I took it back they refused to do anything about it because they said it wasn’t their fault. Charged me for new spark plugs and left super old ones in it. Save your money and don’t go here.

I recently had a JDM engine installed in a 2004 Nissan by Freeway Auto Wrecking and would like to compliment the staff for customer service.
The vehicle is my daughter’s who lives far from me. Because of this I had a cousin in southern California assist me with the logistics of shipping the engine and making sure it got to Freeway on time and intact. My cousin told me that the Freeway staff went beyond their initial estimate of installation by making sure critical components from the original engine were properly installed in the replacement engine because they were not shipped with it. They even changed the oil and made sure the engine was ready reasonably when promised even though they encountered several issues that caused some delay. All this while honoring the original installation quote.
Because of the distance involved in making the whole process come together, it caused me some distress; not to mention the fact that my daughter was without transportation. I appreciate and commend Freeway staff’s integrity and efficiency in making good on their [telephone] quote and service.
