Dr Antonio Méndez Director of «Instituto de la Visión Mendez» did his Ophthalmology residency at «Instituto de Oftalmologia Fundación Conde de Valenciana». And Fellowship in Cornea, External Disease and Refractive Surgery at the same Institute in Mexico City.

Dr Antonio Mendez is recognized world wide as an expert in the most advanced techniques in refractive surgery including SMILE, Lasik, PhotoRefractiveKeratectomy (PRK), Conductive Keratoplasty (CK), Intraocular lens implantation (IOL) and Intracorneal Rings (ICR).

The training of Dr Mendez also enables it to successfully correct other visual disorders such as Cataract, Corneal transplant and Pterygium.

Dr Antonio has presented at local, national and international conferences.

He is coeditor of the Journal Eye Surgery news and journal Frontiers in ophthalmology.

Has several publications in ophthalmologic journals and books of their participation in refractive surgery.
