DJ Sound Express

Dj sound express did an awesome job at my wedding. Not a dull moment with the continuous mix of all sorts of music. Everything was better than I could have asked for. Definitely recommend this company for ANY type of event you hold. Definitely earned this five star review but deserves 100+ stars.

We had Aaron/​DJ Sound Express handle our daughters wedding ceremony music and reception this past weekend 4÷16÷16. WOW! He was more amazing than we could have expected. The time that he took to meet us and the emails back and forth really showed how important it was for him to give us exactly what we wanted for our daughters special day. Your DJ is the person that you count on during the reception to keep the flow moving along smoothly and making sure that everyone is having a great time. Aaron did just that, and when he pulled out the saxophone everyone loved it!!! I had so many compliments on his talent, his personality and how great the music was. You could not ask for a more professional DJ who obviously loves what does and it shows. Thank you Aaron for all you did!

We hired DJ Sound Express for our wedding reception in December in beautiful La Jolla, CA. To say that Aaron did a fantastic job is a serious understatement. From our very first phone conversation with him we could tell that he really wanted to make our day special. We gave him a list of songs to inform him of our musical taste, and he ran with it! I can honestly say, which is extremely rare at weddings, that there was not a single bad song choice for the entire event. He answered email questions promptly, was warm and friendly with us, and maintained the DJ schedule which we established prior to the event, wonderfully. He also provided us with karaōke services, that were fantastic!!! It’s amazing what people will sing after a little bubbly :-)
Lastly, Aaron is a professional saxophonist and we encouraged him to go crazy with the sax! He certainly did not disappoint, and gave us some amazing performances. If you are looking for a DJ who is emotionally invested in your event being a success, one who knows how to take the pulse of a party and accommodate the music accordingly, and is very warm and friendly, then look no further than DJ Sound Express. Aaron at DJ Sound Express is awesome & he entertained a group of 100 people at my parents 50^th wedding Anniversary party. Aaron can really get guests up & moving with his music choices & upbeat style. He also did a saxophone solo for my parents & they loved it… And started dancing themselves in the middle of his serenade. Aaron makes the event personal, with his cool little touches… Such as the live music.
My dad requested some random song he remembered when my mom & he first met…& Aaron found it & played it special for them. Everyone at the party had a great time … Thanks to the music from Aaron & DJ sound Express.

Aaron did an amazing job as the DJ for the Susan G. Komen 3-​Day! He played for hours and never missed a beat. He kept the walkers and crew energized with an awesome selection of music and he even dressed the part! I would highly recommend him for any type of an event. He was super easy to communicate with and super friendly. LOVED him and will definitely be using him again for all of my DJ needs.

If you are looking for a great Dj that can just make any event or party awesome Aaron is the man ! My wife Itzel and I had our wedding two months ago and Aaron was our Dj. Aaron is so professional and makes sure to capture every detail of your big day. He made sure that we were both happy and that our wedding reception was non stop dancing and having a good time. A special touch to the wedding reception was when Aaron suggested we do a marriage dance and invite all the couples who were married to come and dance on the dance floor and one by one acknowledge those who had been married the longest. My uncle and aunt have been married 62 years and it was neat to honor them on the dance floor. Very special and everyone is still talking about it. Aaron will meet with you and discuss every single detail to make your day a special one. I wish I could say more but you can’t pass on him, book him for your special event !!

Aaron DJ’d our wedding this past weekend and was absolutely amazing! He knows exactly what to do and when to do it, it makes your big day that much less stressful. All of our guests were so impressed and raved after he played the sax. I even had a surprise dance for my husband and he did a great job mixing the songs, didn’t skip a beat! Is there a six-​star option on Unilocal?Last weekend Aaron DJ’d my 50^th birthday party and it ROCKED! I mixed my parents, neighbors, school parents, college friends, inlaws, and 45 of their children, and Aaron handled it all with ease. Everyone had a great time dancing, but the kid-​content contests were amazing as us parents could just sit back and enjoy the wine and food. Polite and professional and flexible, Aaron fit perfectly into whatever was going on with borrowing his mikes for the toasts and announcements. He spun an enchanting web over us like the pied piper, and playing the sax in the crowd dancing was a great touch. DJ Sound Express is the best decision to make for your party!

Aaron was wonderful to work with. He listened to every song I wanted to be played. For songs that were not as known or had multiple versions, he called me and had me listen to make sure he had the right one. I definitely recommend Aaron for any event. He had all the comedic moments down and for the romantic ones, he had the perfect music and lighting. I am so happy to have met him and thank him for making our wedding amazing to dance to all night long. I got so many compliments from our guests on how great he was! Aaron DJ’d our wedding in May and let me just say, Aaron is the MAN! I have been to a number of events that DJ Sound Express has DJ’d, so when it came time for our wedding, I knew there was no other DJ that I was interested in. He was easy from the start, did all of our communication through email, always answered emails quickly and kept right up with all the last minute changes. DJ Sound Express knew exactly how to keep the party going all night, my wedding was a very mixed crowd and I had a list of songs that I had requested to be played, Aaron ran the night so smoothly, there was always someone dancing.

Aaron DJ’d my daughters 3^rd birthday and did a great job. He kept all the kids engaged and changed it up when you could tell they were getting distracted. It was a beautiful celebration of her life. She felt so special. Thank you so much Aaron!

Aaron was Amazing at my sons 3^rd Birthday party in Carlsbad! He made the party and surprised everyone with the saxophone. Our guest were impressed and our son had the best time! Wish I could post a video. :)

There are not enough words I could say about DJ Sound express! There is no one better! His music selection is out of this world! I’ve attended so many of his events and each and every one has been wonderful! The extra bonus is listening to him play the sax! Best DJ in San Diego! I recommend DJ Sound express for your complete entertainment! I would give 10 stars if they would let me!

Nothing i said is unfair. Yes i met your associate, and agreed to him being there but with the understanding that he would be your helper for cocktail hour only not that he would be the dj the whole night. And yes you showed up for 10 min at the most, i expressed my concerns to you about how the night was going, that your associate was not transitioning from one song to the next well, that he was playing the same 10 songs over and over again and you said you would take care of it and instead you left!!!
Again, I paid for you to be the entertainment of the night, not your associate!!!
I invite anyone who wants to see the video and witness to how his associate ruined the night!!! It is concrete proof!
I also read the good reviews and took good faith on those reviews and hired you and still I got the short end of the stick.
Till this day, the first thing anyone says about my daughters sweet sixteen is how the entertainment DJ sound Express sucked and ruined the night.
The only reason you have one star is because it asks for one otherwise I wouldn’t give you any at all.

Dj Sound Express has done alot of events for me, family and friends! He never disappoints, he always keeps the party going! He is very entertaining, plays anything you ask for and is great at getting everyone involved in the party! I recommend him every time someone asks for a dj!

Aaron — OMGosh! What an awesome time was had by all! You and Jason are the bomb! The of music you played was excellent. I haven’t been to a party and had that much fun in quite a long time. Not only did you please everyone’s taste from 20 to 70 and older, you played requests and remembered special events around those songs and the names of those that made the request. You have a knack at getting folks involved, up and dancing. Not to mention what an awesome sax player you are. The wedding music and sound were great, you were the perfect master of ceremonies.
I will highly recommend DJ Sound Express to anyone that needs a DJ and/​or an MC.

Where can I start. Aaron did an excellent job for the AARP event that was located at Museum of Man In Balboa Park. Even Dan Marino was grooving. His saxophone performance just nailed it! Definitely added some class to the event. If your looking for a Dj that will entertain your guests while playing great music, Dj Sound Express is the way to go. Dj Sound Express knows how to read the crowd no matter what the age. I won’t hesitate hiring him again. Will highly recommend him for any event!
