Chula Vista KinderCare

I love this facility. It’s new, clean, modern and very large. All of the teachers and office staff are great! My kids love going here. Only downside is the price — it is very pricey (as is every decent or better public daycare in San Diego), but you get what you pay for! Love Chula Vista KinderCare!

This is by far the nicest childcare facility I have seen in San Diego. The staff is absolutely wonderful. The center director is always pleasant as well as the assistant director. The infant teachers are blessings! I would recommend to any new parents to check it out of they are in need of care.

My daughter has been here about 18 months. And I love this place. My daughter loves it there and the curriculum is really good. They have extra classes that cost extra but are reasonably priced. They are open really long hours which is great for military parents and also offer NACCRA discounts. I gave it four starts because in the last two months they have had some major changes (new management) and have increased the price of tuition. I hope the new management doesn’t affect the old teachers there! I LOVE all the teachers with the exception of the new ones only because they haven’t been there that long. I see the new director wants to make a lot of changes but I TRULY LOVED the old staff. I don’t get the family feeling when I walk in there mainly because the new staff isn’t as nice as the old one was. Again, I PRAY the new staff doesn’t push the old teachers out! We love Mrs Bertha, Mrs Maria, Mrs Cindy, Mrs Liz and Mrs Janey.

I also don’t agree with previous reviews. My daughter has been attending KinderCare since October 2013 and we couldn’t be happier. She’s been in the 1 y/​o the 2 y/​o and 3 y/​o classroom. Teachers are amazing, all staff is amazing, they truly care about my daughter. My daughter is an extremely picky eater and they truly work with me. Overall, my daughter loves going to school and I can work peacefully because I know my daughter is in good hands.

DO NOT ENROLL YOUR CHILD IN THIS SCHOOL!!!
My child attended this KinderCare for six months and she cried every time we dropped her off and when we would pick her up she would beg us to not take her back there. When I walk into the playground the teachers that are suppose to be watching the children are to busy gossiping in a corner. On several occasions I showed up my daughter was by herself crying, no on attended to her nor had an answer as to why she was crying. No one was ever at the front desk, even though they have a security code the door is always left open and anyone can walk in. At first I believed that all children are emotional when starting school but once I enrolled her a different school I realized that my daughters cries were real, they were not from her being a crybaby she truly did not like that school. It breaks my heart to think she endured those 6 months with emotionless so called teachers.
I personally know a Director and teacher at a different KinderCare location (she did not know I enrolled my daughter at the Paseo Ladera location) she confirmed that this location is the worst. The went on to tell me that these teachers are careless and only put up a front when parents are around. And KinderCare main office is aware of this.
So PLEASE do not enroll your child at KinderCare. If you don’t believe me ask them why their previous director requested to be transferred to a different location.

I do not agree with previous reviewer. I have my daughter here for over three years and she loves her friends and teachers! They have summer camps (at no extra fees!) and winter camps. We’ve made friends with other parents and all of us are happy there. Kids are striving and learning their numbers, letters and coordination. Shout out to Ms. Liz, Ms. Bertha and Ms. Maria! Hours are very convenient for working parents and they offer NACCRA for military moms and dads. Swing by and see for yourself. We are happy here.

I enrolled my son in this place on February and I could say that I was very dissatisfied in their program. First, the vanilla wafers, every time I would drop off my son I see the kid eating vanilla wafers or something sweet for breakfast which is not even on their menu. Their tables and chairs are so filthy and sticky, trash can was open and who knows if they are really teaching the kids because I never see any of their project. If you really want a good education and clean environment to your child, do not take them here.
