I forgot to write this review last week, but that won’t ever happen again cuz I pinky-promise-swore this place off! First, I should start by saying, I don’t like this place but I’ve been here about five times. Really not by choice just trying to be a good friend, lol seriously though. This is always how I end up there: Me: Where ya wanna go? Her: Buffet House Me: You know that’s just fat, right? Let’s go to soup plantation If we’re doing«All you can eat». Besides that place sucks. Her: Why the hell you ask where I wanna go, if we’re not gonna go where I want to go? Me: Omg, calm down, Pac Man! You always pick that place, It’s gross. Her: I love the food there and it’s cheap. Me: Yeah, it’s cheap because it sucks. Alright, Come on fatty pants, let’s go to Roach House then! The food is always the same: Never hot, no taste, etc. I don’t see how it can be so packed sometimes. Is everyone doing a friend a favor by being there? The fruit doesn’t even look right and not to mention the place if filthy. The sushi just sits out there waiting to give someone food poisoning. Welp, I won’t be back ever again… I made her pinky promise to never make me go back again.

Food was ok. Nothing in particular stood out to me. All the food was warm and not hot. It was clean and reasonably priced.

Very traditional Asian buffet, all the normal dishes, a good meal and today, Tuesday all day and night it was $ 9.95, the lunch price, well worth it. If I’m hungry for Asian buffet I’ll come back.

Whenever im near palomar and craving sushi or just chinese food in general i fucks with buffet house. Very spacious place. Food is usually yummy. They gots sushi and a great salad bar. The people who pick up your dishes don’t really seem happy here More like miserable lol. I do like the claw machines especially the hello kitty and sanrio one. The $ 1 bouncy ball claw is cool too a winner with every try. Sometimes on a busy day it gets pretty dirty on the floors and tables will be stacked mile high with dishes. And the bathrooms are 50⁄50 always either its clean or its not. Point blank.

Came here and it was pretty crowded but plenty of tables available. Most of the selection is seafood which i can’t eat. But it had a good selection of other things. Reason I’m giving three stars is because of prices in relation to good amount and taste. Taste was good but most food was cold. Desert was good but they could’ve had more selection. For the price ~12 $ its ok. Will Come again, but not in the future.

$ 26.98 for two. Never again Dirty sticky carpeting. Not sure how this place passes health inspection. Food is lukewarm and many items look as though they’ve been here all week. Best part of the experience was self service soda that we didn’t have to wait for a server to refill.

This restaurant is a pretty good Chinese buffer. They offer a variety of dishes and most of the time serve salmon and ribs. The price is fair because they include the refreshments with it. The service is polite and friendly. They only get a three stars rating only because the desert station kind of sucks. But if you go to the salad station they have fresh fruit to satisfy your sweet needs.

Great service, reasonably clean, and selection was great! Seafood selections are very tasty and quite surprising that some of these pricier items are on the menu considering the 11.99 price(including soft drinks). Most of all, food was very good and reasonably fresh.

Ehh… Typical Chinese buffet. There wasn’t much variety for food. The sushi bar was so small they barely had any sushi! There was only cali roll and salmon nigri and the salmon did not taste fresh! But the upside is it’s really cheap. It was only 11.99 for dinner. I guess I shouldn’t really expect much right?

I’m not one that’s a frequent AYCE buffet goer, but Mom & Dad love going here on occasion since it’s not too far from home for them and the food is actually good. Otherwise I probably wouldn’t venture out here since it’s at least 25 miles away from where I live. Buffet House is pretty huge. There’s plenty of seating for a ton of people to get their grub on here, but I have yet to see it filled to capacity. They have a variety of food and they swap out often, which is great so the food is fresh and not just sitting there for hours on end. I’m a little OCD about cleanliness at home and that basically carries over when I’m out in public places. The restroom is very clean here(a big plus) and the servers that clear your plates from your table are very quick and efficient. I also like that the actual buffet stations look clean, fresh and organized(compared to messy with sticky serving handles which I find at other places). I usually get the same thing whenever I go to a Chinese buffet: green beans, chow mein, fried rice, beef broccoli, egg drop soup and whatever else that may look good. I tried the lobster roll on this trip since it looked appetizing. It was deep fried with minced pork and cabbage and actually tasted good. I tried some of the baked salmon and surprisingly, that was really tasty. I wanted to get more for my second round, but it took about fifteen minutes for them to replenish it with another filet. Overall, the food is good, not fantastic, but it’s good for a buffet. They had a ton of options, including a salad bar & sushi bar(which I skipped on this visit) and a self-serve soda station. The super cool thing that kept us entertained for the nearly two hours we were there was the fun claw game they had. They have three claw games for a dollar each, but the one filled with mini play balls is a guaranteed win regardless of how many times you keep trying to get a hold of one. Out of boredom, we bought a few for our nieces and nephews. My aunt gave my hubby and I three bucks to pick some up for her grand kids and my Mom’s friend’s grandson got seven of them, lol. I know it’s totally irrelevant to the food at Buffet House, but with all the fun we had with this, I thought it was worth mentioning, lol.

For Chinese Buffett, I’m giving four stars. Great tasting food and yes there were many patrons from Mexico which included my friends whom I was with. They were impressed with the fried shrimp. They’d know as they were from Mazatlan where seafood was everywhere. I was happy with the steamed fish and grilled New York steak. The place was busy and it was clean. I’d come back. Drinks are included in the price.

I was gonna eat here… I came in with my dad and we paid the 9.50 per person… walked around the food and saw one of the food handlers pick a projectile(something foreign) from the rice… After I saw that I thought to myself wow that’s kinda like not appealing… I am trying to eat where they use better and healthier infredients… here I perception is they use the cheapest gmo food they can get… I mean they cater to 90% mexican from Mexico. …rey don’t care about the quality of foods… and i say that cause my dad is eating. He don’t care… cool I’m just here sitting here. Waiting patiently The cashier is nice and attentive … But for the rest of the staff I beg to differ… These guys have no customer service skills at all. And i mean the Chinese guys they are like zombies just pick up food and race away. As for the manager… wow thanks I’m really not coming back to this place… it’s just disgusting… man I don’t wanna see the kitchen. …yikes! !! If u have a big appetite and don’t care about the ingredients in your food. Then enjoy buffet time For me I’ll go to the taco shop where I know what ingredients they put and how they make it in their clean and awesomely friendly environment Manager just a note. Thanks for asking… have a good one and learn to communicate with your customers

The food is okay here. The buffet seemed a bit run down to me. I don’t know if it’s because I’m from Vegas so my point of view may be skewed on what a buffet should be. I know that Chinese food is supposed to be greasy but it seemed heavier than normal. Some of the food tasted like it has been sitting there for awhile. The upkeep of the restaurant was in decline. The positive thing is they had my seafood salad in the shells… yay!

Hey great place, lots to choose from. Food looks exactly like Elite Buffet in Lemon Grove. I know I go there 3 times a week. Its like a copy of Elites menu, Except this place has a few more items. Go there.

I wrote this review months ago and forgot to post it. «This place is great. The other review ranting about it being substandard is retarded. This is a buffet not a gastropub! One should remember that when they are posting reviews. As far as buffets go, its not Vegas but it is far from bad. With regard to their salmon, the coloration is due to the sauce. Its quite tastey and I am definitely a Foodie. This place is good food for a fair price. If you are looking for a fast, fresh buffet then this is your spot. If you want a four star meal to somewhere else.»

This place is clean, and has a large variety of food to choose from. We especially liked the Orange Chicken and Mongolian Beef. I’m rather picky about Chinese Food, and while this wasn’t the best, It’s the best I’ve found so far in San Diego. Fountain drinks are included in the dinner price of $ 10.50 ish a person, so I’d say it was worth the money. Ohh Yea, Soft Serve Ice Cream Also! Woo Hoo!(Happy dance in my chair right now)

Bait and switch ploy, the picture advertisement on the window was false. The only sushi they had on the sushi bar was California rolls and cucumber rolls. I even asked for those menu items that was in the picture and they said sorry we are not going to make them. tuna, salmon, eel, yellow tail, ikira, etc was missing from the sushi bar. Very pissed off !!! And will contact the rip off report.

For a buffet, this is definitely a 4 star place. I don’t know if there is a 5 star buffet(maybe in Vegas somewhere… I will find you!), but if you are in the southbay area and super hungry with little dinero, this is your place.
