The food was great but the customer service of the cashier today Saturday March 13th2016 was a bi@)&! She didn’t wanna sell me a soda she wanted me to make the hole line again. She was also rude to the lady before me when she left she said«le voy a meter un fregadazo» never going again!

The birria here is pretty good if you don’t like it as greasy as Fernandez Catering Birria. Don’t get me wrong, Fernandez Birria is also good but they don’t remove the fat they just chop it up along with the beef. Birria at Prieto is good and you have mostly meat and less fat added to the taco. The tortilla could be better. Nevertheless for being a food truck it’s good if you want a quick bite. Tacos are $ 2 but they are huge and the give free broth(consome). Trucks are clean, if you were to compare this taco with one from TJ it would rank between a 2 and 3 on a scale of 5.

The underappreciated but indispensable sister truck of Mariscos El Prieto, this eatery offers beef options in case you find yourself craving something other than seafood. A hangover necessity, for sure. They serve a respectable birria in two sizes, small and large, plus several types of tacos, including cabeza, tripa and asada. They even have a vegetarian taco(AKA quesa taco, lol). The birria comes with six tortillas and tastes better with additional lime and your salsa of choice. Coke, Diet Coke, Sangria, Orange Fanta, Clamato, bottled water and apple soda are available on ice. Simply order at the window, pay(cash only), and wait for your name to be called in 5 – 10 minutes. You’ll have to find a spot at the table or counter to eat, as there are no seats here. Don’t forget to ask for your free consomé.

There are two food trucks at 3031 Main Street in Chula Vista(located on the corner of 4th and Main). How and why I ended up here isn’t open for discussion(Hint — it has a connection to the moniker«Autobus»), so I’ll just stick to the food. This is really tasty finger lickin’ good stuff. There are two trucks, one for fish and one for beef. The fish truck is more popular(including with the D.E.A. and their archrivals as I am told). So, if you land in Chula Vista and want some tasty grub, stop by one of the trucks and pick up a couple of tacos. Stand in the parking lot dining area(which I’d categorize as neutral turf) and consume food elbow-to-elbow with a who’s who of of this wild west border outpost.

If you want to have tacos de birria similar to the ones crossing the border this is it, meat its good salsas etc their menu offers you different kind of tacos, not 5 starts just because service is missing something and they dont accept debit/credit cards

Ive been here a couple of times and it seems like they lack flavor… customer service its just ok… tried their consome, and i had to add lots of salsa, lemon and salt.

The tacos are great better than other food trucks! Really liked the set up of the two food trucks and the table in the middle! Definitely going back.

I love the Birria tacos here they’re Awesome !!! I’ve tried Birria tacos at a few other places in Chula Vista, & I must say this place is the best!!!. And they have the best Fish Taco truck in Chula Vista right next store :-D I’m loving the El Prieto Taco spot, it’s Taco truck heaven there. The best Birria Tacos on your right and the best, and the best Fish tacos on your left. Just get there B47:30pm, they don’t stay open late ;-)

This was just beside the Mariscos El Prieto food truck. So, my friend and I were both simultaneously eating at both places. :) We had Los M.P., El Perron & Tripa tacos. All of them were delicious! Good quality food & service again. Will come back again next time.

I’ve only had the Birria Taco and just once. It was pretty good, and in the future, I plan to try the ELPERRON(Birria De Res(Beef) + Carne Asada) Taco Con Todo.
