Beyond Dentistry

I had a great first experience here. The staff and Dr. Ramirez were all very nice and made me feel very comfortable. I just came in for a routine cleaning and they offered glasses to help block out the bright light, a blanket in case I got cold, and a tv to help distract from the procedure. They took x-​Rays and showed me pictures of the problem areas of my teeth. I really felt like they cared and made sure I understood every step of what they were doing. I used to go to Smile San Diego (also in Chula Vista) but i received way better care here at Beyond! This is definitely going to be my new office.

DO NOT GO HERE! Unless you want to pay out of pocket when you are 100% covered. I went to Beyond Dentistry because my friend recommended it. Dr. Ramirez is a preferred provider with my insurance. Come to find out, she charged the insurance more than thier rate, which a preferred provider shouldn’t do. I just found out from my new dentist that I don’t have a copay, but this office charged me one. They are scammers! Don’t go here unless you want to get ripped off! Their office is clean with new everything, but is isn’t worth the dishonest staff:(

I have not been to the dentist in over 8 years, mainly because I hate the experiences I have had before and I have also never really been educated on why exactly I should see a dentist regularly. I met Norma and she invited me to her office. I’m glad I went. She was able to fix my very irritated gums and explain why they were hurting. We have put together a game plan to get me back on track. I refer my friends and family to her now.

A friend of mine from Undisputed recommended Norma to me for some emergency dental work. She responded to me on a Sunday to make an appointment (that alone is impressive). I hadn’t been top see a dentist in almost 15 years as I hate the experience. She made an appointment for me the next morning. I was in and out before I knew it. Completely painless, easy, and quick. I couldn’t have dreamed of a better dental experience! The entire staff was helpful and sincere. The office is clean, relaxing, and you watch TV while they work on your teeth. Felt like a day at the spa compared to my previous experiences with other dentists. She took the time to explain exactly what was going on and reviewed all my financial options. I’m going to change my insurance to PPO and come back for routine work! If you need work done, this is the place to go!
