History
Established in 1905.
The building that became the Sheeley House was started before the Civil War and served as a blacksmith shop among other uses. James Sheeley bought the property in 1905 and turned it into a saloon and boarding house, and it remained with his family until 1981. at that time the Sheeley House was totally renovated and reopened as a restaurant. Jessica Moran purchased the Sheeley House in April of 2015 and is returning it to its roots as a comfortable pub with good food where travelers and locals mingle.
