Awful!
The campground was beautiful and right along the river. Green grass. Lovely.
HOWEVER, the hosts were completely drunk by the time we arrived. (7pm) were very loud until late into the evening.
We woke early in the morning, my family and I bathed in the provided showers. As we were leaving the male host approached us very heated. «Did I treat you right?!» He says. «Did I give you a fair price!!!» We said yes and thank you. He then yelled at us «thanks for keeping the f***ing showers clean!» And there’s water all over the f***ing floor!” We were so shocked and we had our 3 year old son with us! We left immediately and vowed to never come back.

This is a lovely, quiet «rustic» RV park… grass rather than paved… large, well-​separated, full hook-​up, level spaces… lots of trees and great views of the mouth of the Columbia River. The manager, Jean, was friendly, helpful, and provided lots of information on the area and restaurants. Dog friendly. Definitely recommending River’s End Campground to friends! We stayed here with a travel trailer.

A wonderful place to camp! Very quiet, peaceful and the grounds and restrooms are kept immaculate. It’s in chinook, 15 minutes from either Long Beach or Astoria.
