Great selection and awesome prices! Kind of an akward location in the 2^nd floor of a business complex in a suite. Being in such an akward spot, I was expecting to be welcomed by one of the 4 ppl who were sitting in the office instead i felt a little lost and akward as to how it all worked. Just wandered the room for a bit and browsed. Once i finally got their attention someone came out to help and was very nice.

I been to this store twice and was really satisfied with the vast selection of hair products. this is the only store that sell these unique brands in Chino hills. The only con is its a little pricey.

I’ve been coming monthly to West Coast Shaving to pick up some pomade for the last year or so. They have a huge selection and carry any and all grooming essentials. Workers are always friendly and helpful. Plus, the shop always smells fresh thanks to all the products.

I’ve only ever ordered from them online but their service is quick and their prices are competitive. I ordered some shaving products and got free shipping even though I didn’t spend a lot. They always have what I need in stock and they have a very comprehensive selection of products. If you’re into wet shaving, give West Coast Shaving a try.

This place is a hidden gem! Tucked away in a little industrial complex in Chino Hills, this place has all kinds of awesome, rare, and unique men’s grooming items.
I often times come here to check out new pomades and hair mattes and could probably burn away hours just checking out new pomades and smelling them, I know it sounds weird but some of you will get it!
The staff is super helpful and will offer you some great recommendations on products and seem to have a firm understanding of all the products they carry. And they carry a pretty damn diverse product selection.
The pricing is very fair as most of the products you’ll find in there are typically only available online anyway, you’re already saving a good chunk of money on being spared any shipping cost.

I have been meaning to write this review for a very long time. I have been shopping here for about 6 months, and i come in about every 2 to 3 weeks… They have everything you need to get started in wet shaving, but also everything you need once you get into the hobby phase of it too. There selection of products is by far bigger then other competitors, and you can browse the isles to find anything from soap pucks, bar soap, aftershave, razors, blades, cologne, and just about everyting you need in men’s grooming… Depending on what you would like to spend, they have everything from economy to luxury. They truly represent the world in men’s grooming, I have bought soaps from the U.S. to France to even India. The best part is, the unique scents, soaps, and colognes are sure to make you a stand out in pack of guys, and this is truly a hobby any lady would appreciate you having… So if your an experianced wet shaver, or just getting started this place has you covered. Lastly the customer service is 100% on point, and they have always answered all my questions and helped me out! Thanks WCS for changing the way i look at mens grooming!

I found this place a couple of months ago while looking for somewhere to buy Layrite Grooming Spray, and I’m glad I did. I started growing a beard this month, and they have a good selection of beard oils and balms. Lots of different kinds of pomades, tonics, and other hair supplies, too. I even found an aftershave there that my dad used to wear when I was a kid. And I just found out that if you want to try a sample of any of their products before buying, they’ll set you up with one to take home. This has a better selection of quality men’s grooming products than you’ll find in any beauty supply shop, hands down.

Very cool place and super helpful staff! I went in knowing what I wanted but I ended up leaving with a few more things. The place is a little hidden but it is well worth seeking out. Any guy who enjoys looking good should give this place a shot.

Great place. I’ve been looking for a place to get «Man» products that the beauty shops just don’t carry or cater to. Excellent service good prices. Just don’t go in if you only have 5 min to spare. You’ll need to take your time just to see everything that they carry.

VERY deceptive ratings system online.
I purchased a razor and 100 pack of blades from WCS based on their stellar reviews and somewhat reasonable prices. After receiving them, I couldn’t really understand why both products were so terrible, but I chalked it up to bad luck.
But then I tried to write a review…
I gave both products low ratings (not the lowest, but very low) and shortly after that received an email from WCS informing me that my reviews wouldn’t be approved and posted in the reviews section because as they put it, low ratings «could be interpreted negatively». Review systems are supposed to be accurate, not advertisements. Now I know why all their products that have reviews have top marks. EXTREMELY deceptive business practice, and I’d say it’s borderline fraud.

Last year West Coast Shaving helped sponsor the Movember fundraiser at my work. The staff was great and helped us pick out some great giveaway gifts. I ended up winning my first safety razor and wet shave shaving kit. I have been a customer ever since. The products are fairly priced and the variety of choices are plentiful. This place is the best on the west coast offering on line order and a small store front in Chino Hills to accommodate your needs.

Found WCS online and noticed they had a store here in Chino Hills. They had a particular item I wanted that was hard to find other than online. When I got to the store I was so impressed with the customer service. Probably the best customer service I’ve EVER gotten ANYWHERE!!! This is my new go to for anything shaving or hair related… do yourself a favor and check them out!!!

Awesome place! If you’re into shaving you will love this place. Almost a bit much when you walk in. They have a large selection. A little hard to figure how they stock the shelves. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Ok, so women have so many supply stores that make them feel beautiful. This is the male equivalent of those stores! If you’re a man, and you shave anything, this is the store for you! The staff there is so helpful and the selection is ridiculous! I wish they would open more stores!

I created an account just to write this review. And it goes like this…
For about the past 6 months, I’ve been wanting to find a different facial hair style. I’m bored of my so called «beard» or mustache. About four days ago, while on a Vegas trip, my girlfriend and I were walking through the Venetian when she saw The Art of Shaving store and asked, «hey, wanna check it out?» I went in and fell in love with the designs of the vintage razors. When I asked the guy how much a set was, he’d lift a couple up that I was looking at and said, «$ 235.» Yeah, no thanks. But that didn’t stop me from wanting a set.
Through INCREDIBLE amounts of online searching, I found out about West Coast Shaving and was incredibly amazing at the range of quality and prices they carried. I couldn’t wait and almost bought my stuff online but I’m glad I didn’t. The people inside were as smart about their inventory as they were nice and willing to help with any questions I had.
I left the shop with my dream kit at about 70% less than what I had first seen in Vegas. This shop is amazing and worth the drive if you’ve already put the time in to read this review.

Awesome selection of wet shaving and grooming supplies. Customer service rivals an expensive boutique .If you are new to wet shaving or an old pro, they have it all. I started 6 months ago and have thrown all expensive cartridges out. Wet shaving is much cheaper in the long run. Stood blade runs 10 – 20 cents per blade and you can use for 3 or 4 shaves. I use a new one each time.

Great variety of men’s grooming products for personal or professional use. I personally like their extensive collection of top of the line razors and straight blades, aftershaves and beard products.

I love the clean smell of this shop. A shavers and groomers pure bliss, West Coast shaving is primarily an internet business built out of the owners necessity for hard to find shaving products. I found the business out of necessity as well. When Nordstrom stopped carrying Lucky Tiger shave cream years ago, the Lucky Tiger shave company directed me to West Coast Shaving and I’m so glad they did.
Since finding the shop, my whole family has added some new items to their shaving repertoire like safety razors, and shave creams and even some high quality hard to find grooming items like hand made combs and unique hair gels and pomades. Their staff is pretty helpful in recommendations, Kevin is my go to source he usually steers me in the right direction when selecting products. If you decide to call in you may need to leave a message, often times they are busy helping customers who visit the store but they will call you back.
If you live in So Cal and love the art of shaving, its worth a stop in because you will the have exclusive and unique access to shop directly in their corporate office where they house all of their internet sales goods. For the few companies I have found who offer this service, it is a real treat to browse through all of their merchandise in the warehouse/​sales stock floor. Merchandise is clearly marked and priced and shelved neatly. There are dozens of selections of every shaving type of product, razors, blades, wet shaving products, soaps, tonics, hair gels, just about anything to keep your noggin beautified. Brands range from all over the world, and all of the products are of high quality. Prices are very reasonable. For instance, Lucky Tiger brand shave cream is $ 8 cheaper than the merchant I used to buy it from before finding WCS.

This place is shaving heaven. What is shaving heaven you ask?! Shaving heaven is a place where you can wander the aisles, smell product, ask questions about knot sizes and lather consistency. You can feel the weight of your new DE razor *before* you buy it online. You can gawk at the $ 300 super badger brush you pine over day in and day out. You can geek out over the variety of blades, all nice and pretty in their respective bins. I drove 40 minutes to spend about an hour here while I was visiting family for the holiday. I didn’t even feel awkward just standing and staring for minutes on end while the super friendly employees bustled around filling last minute orders.
Yes, it’s basically a stockroom for their online store… but it’s inherently so much more than that. The sheer volume of products available is mind boggling for anyone into DE shaving. And I overhead a few conversations with folks who wandered in looking for starter kits — the employees seemed extremely helpful with recommendations for those new to the art and hobby. I walked away with A LOT — gifts for friends and family and a few special items for myself. The price point is similar to most online stores but the tactile experience of touching and smelling a product before purchase was key for me. I dropped a considerable amount of dough (sent to me for this purpose) on a mahogany Geo Trumper soap w/​bowl for my bestie. I wouldn’t have bought this without the opportunity to see how beautiful it was and test some of the scents. Then, of course, I went overboard on everything else. Based on an employee recommendation I found the perfect sensitive/​dry skin soap for myself and picked up a TOBS cream just for fun. I also picked up a variety of blades and less expensive soaps for stocking stuffers and small gifts. They were much appreciated all the way around. If you’re in the area (within an hour drive… or maybe more), check this place out. You won’t be able to leave without going to town on your debit card but it’s worth it.

If you’re like me, ordering online is a challenge as choices are based upon the reviews and opinions of others which are completely subjective and often misleading.
A visit to WestCoast Shaving is a must for all traditional shavers as they have a great selection of goods –products you can see, smell, and touch– and excellent customer service.
