History

Established in 2007.

Diana L. Martinez has been in practice since 1998. After years of fighting contested divorce cases in court, and disgusted at how the courts, litigators, and the law treat families in crises, she chose to change her practice to focus exclusively on family-​centered conflict resolution processes. In 2007, Ms. Martinez formed West Coast Mediation as a resource for healthier solutions in family law. To address all aspects of such cases, Ms. Martinez coordinated a team of talented therapists, child specialists, and financial professionals who share her work ethic and goals of putting the «Family» back into «Family Law».

Business Owner

Diana L. Martinez provides collaborative divorce and mediation services in San Bernardino, Los Angeles, Riverside, and Orange counties. A 15 year veteran of Family Law, in 2007, Ms. Martinez’s practice transitioned her practice to 100% out-​of-​court, peaceful dispute resolution.

Ms. Martinez also educates and trains attorneys, judges, financial and mental health professionals in mediation and collaborative divorce. She is also a local and national lecturer for various professional and community organizations on the topics of conflict resolution, the impact of cultural diversity in family law matters, and negotiating through the high conflict divorce. Ms. Martinez is also published in the areas of conflict resolution, divorce, and cultural diversity in collaborative and mediation cases, and is also a regular contributor to various professional and community education publications.
