I’ve never written a Unilocal review, but after finding out what my Mother went through with my sister, I’ve never felt more inclined. I also want to apologize for the length. But if you’re a parent, please read on. This«Christian studio» and its owner falsely advertises its special needs programs and for being compassionate and holding Christian values. I had no idea my Mother was regularly taking my sister to a class, where its mainly taught by an apathetic teacher that is concerned with checking her text messages and doesn’t seem to know how to silence her phone. Really? In case you’re just technologically incompetent, here are some tips: general settings-ringer-vibrate-silence, airplane mode, do not disturb mode(crescent shape, otherwise a «moon shape»). With what they charge and with a classroom of 15 challenged students, you would think they would be better staffed with employees that is actually equipped to work with developmentally disabled children as they advertised to begin with. Instead, they have their own students as aides and teachers; they’re obviously too young and are unaware of how to help special needs children with their body movement, let alone their own. Being young, the students don’t seem to understand that there’s a window for parents to look into. It’s difficult to hide facial expressions, which is unfortunate because special needs is a sensitive field. Side note: their studio is cramped, muggy, and not well maintained. It took only two times for me to come watch my sister attend their class, when I finally urged my Mother to not enroll her in any more classes. Apparently earlier that week, my Mother purchased another set of classes. I figured she would be able to get a refund if she just talks to the owner and explain that the classes weren’t a good fit for my sister. To my surprise months later, I find out that she never was able to get a refund. I asked my Mother where did she even hear about this studio. Of course, the studio advertised at several churches in the Chino area. Go figure. Strike ii for targeting an area where guards tend to be down. I plan on writing to the BBB since my Mother is too sweet and I’ll make sure to start notifying Chino’s community centers to not share this studio’s information. To clients that aren’t parents of special needs, don’t even waste your time. If you want your kids to actually learn technique, compete and be taken seriously: Dellos Dance, Academy of Ballet Arts. Your welcome.

Sadly, I was hoping for a better experience. Pros: small classes, variety of classes and age availability, modesty-focused. Cons: miscommunications, older student as teachers(not necessarily trained to handle small ones), wait time for call and email response can be two weeks, no security(anyone could walk in as the office is not upfront & closed studio viewing). Tried 3 months. Not impressed with content learned or office management.

After experiencing other dance studios and recitals with children wearing inappropriate outfits and costumes(ones which most sensible dads would not approve of their daughters to be wearing) we have finally found a dance studio where I see our daughter(s) going and growing physically as a beautiful dancer and spiritually.
