Charming place to eat at. Food is good. Loved the atmosphere for sure. I really enjoyed the breakfast tacos with bacon and toast with jam. I have also tried the tri tip and eggs… I did not particularly enjoy that one though.

Very nice atmosphere. I had the Belgium waffle with eggs and bacon. The waffle seemed a bit under cooked but the flavor was great as well as the pecan syrup. My mother had the tri tip and eggs which was very delicious. The. Steak had an anazing flavor and was very tender. Would have given 5 stars but due to the waffle and being given a coffee cup with lipstick on it I can only give 4.

Very nice brunch place, I ordered garden omelette and cinnamon roll French toast, all of which were good. I Loved IT!!!

Nothing special except that they give you avocado with your meal for no extra charge which is unheard of!!! Especially in CA. My friend had caramel sauce with her French toast she LOVED that!, my eggs Benedict seemed to be served lunch meat shaved ham, some generic English muffins, sauce was yummy but minimal loved the avocado. Great atmosphere loved the house, great service considering you order at the counter and find a place to sit. Might go back not sure but it was cute with great service, we sat outside because it was soooo noisy inside!

Saturday breakfast. Line was long. Teenage boy bypassed me and the pregnant ladies ahead of me to get menus to the cute young girls behind us. There were lots of large parties. I wish they would insist that parties of more than 4 have one person stand in line. It was awkward as the line goes through the middle of the dining room. Sat on the lawn and enjoyed the air and the delicious food. Lots of parking. Prices reasonable. Coffee excellent.

Came here Saturday around noon and the line was still pretty long. We had to park in the dirt lot to the right of the house (if you’re facing it). The line was out the door and around the corner. The wait to order is the longest, from the outside corner where the ramp starts, it’s about a 20 – 25 minute wait, but once you order, the wait for food is less than 10 minutes. They ask you if you want to sit inside or outside when you order so it’s easier for the servers to find you, so make sure you know!
There is a lot of outside seating, especially behind the house, and it’s very nice. My family and I ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast, the Garden Omelet, and the Farmer’s Skillet, all of which were very good.
Cinnamon Roll French Toast: All their griddle items come with a side of maple syrup and this caramel sauce that is amazing! I would ask for an extra side of it because it is so good and all you want to use is that caramel sauce and not the maple! The french toast itself was standard, softer than other french toast I’ve had.
Garden Omelet: Got it with a side of potatoes and squaw bread. The omelet itself was super fluffy and with a lot of filling! Super delicious and it was pretty big also. The potatoes that came with it were standard, but I ate it with the caramel sauce… heh (huge fan of sweet and savory being mixed)
Farmer’s Skillet: Eggs on top of potatoes with some sort of meat, we got the sausage. It was good, but I would prefer an omelet if I had to choose!
Overall, it’s a nice little house/​restaurant and would probably come back again to try their lunch items!

Worth the wait! Awesome food & great service! I recommend the Eggs Benedict & their house pancakes.

I guess this place was too hyped. and I wasn’t amazed. We came around 9:30 am on Friday. The line was pretty long, out the door and it barely moved! Once I got to the front, I understood why. The cashier makes small talk with everyone! She practically got my friends’ life stories. So it took about 30 minutes in line, but the food came out quickly after we ordered. I did have a bad experience with other customers here, giving us dirty looks bc we were a group of 8 so we had to adjust some tables. I guess they didn’t approve of our methods/​saving seats?
Besides the poor first impression, food was just alright. Regular breakfast place, nothing special. I definitely would not brave the line and rude crowd again for a mediocre breakfast. I got the meat lovers omelet, lots of cheese but once again nothing special. I didn’t even finish all of it! Unusual for me. I also ordered a side of the peppered bacon, nope! Def not worth the $ 4.50. How can you go wrong with bacon? I guess by adding too much sugar like they did. It was a little better once I scraped off a ton of sugar. I also stupidly paid an extra $ 1 for the fruit instead of toast, which was below average. So my total came out to a ridiculous $ 17.55 just for an ok breakfast. My favorite part of the meal was probably the pancake (my friend’s leftover). But pancakes aren’t that hard to make yummy. I just drenched it in syrup, didn’t even love their caramel. I also tried someone’s steak, not good surprisingly! And I love steak. I’m sad I didn’t love it as much as all my classmates, 3 stars is being generous.

This is one of my favorite places to go for brunch. There’s always a long line, but it moves quickly.
The restaurant itself is a converted house. It feels like you’re visiting grandma for the weekend. It’s a bit crowded, but I think it’s part of the charm. We usually sit outside on the patio.
All of the food is delicious and comes out hot.
Try to be courteous when ordering. This isn’t your typical «place your order at the table» kind of place. Grab a menu, look over it in line, be ready to order at the counter, THEN grab a table. It helps thing move along.
Overall, great food, great service, great atmosphere.

Went by this place and decided to check out parking. There’s a tiny lot on one side and a dirt lot next to it. There’s apparently another parking lot that’s shared with an optometry office and possibly another restaurant. Did not know about it until I looked over. I parked in the dirt path since the tiny lot next to it was full. It took about an hour to get our order. I thought they were holding a line but they’re just slow to take orders. There were also quite a lot of tables that were empty too. If only they could speed up the ordering. Maybe not to overwhelm the kitchen staff? Tip: get someone to wait in line if you’re running late and meet up with your guest later since it would take an hour anyways. I would not go with a toddler unless the line started inside.
Everything else was great. The drinks came out quickly. The food came out quickly. The bread we ordered was well buttered and I didn’t need more. The sour dough was good! I had the breakfast burrito and had gravy over it (upon request). I never tried gravy over a burrito but it wasn’t too bad. It’s a little spicy but only because of the pepper. No salsa anywhere though. Not sure if they’ll give it to you if you wanted some. They were great with service, constantly refilling my drink upon request and asking if we were okay.

I really love this Breakfast place– Awesome place– awesome food– awesome ambiance .
Customer service– amazing customer service — the food is served super quickly and is always hot and delicious–
Ambiance– it has a gramma house feel to it– like a countryside café or diner– very warm and welcoming–
Food– very tasty, yummy and fresh– I have tried vegetable omlete, hash brown and cinnamon bread– everything is freshly made and freshly served.
Location– it’s located in someone’s house– has a nice patio and both outside open air sitting and indoor warm cozy sitting–
Prices– very reasonable with extremely good portions– me and my husband get good filling breakfast in under 20 $ and a lot of time we bring home leftover–
Totally 5 stars experience overall from customer service to the delicious food and prices– I am a big fan :)

Before coming here, I warned my friends that it’s possible that it’s someone’s actual house but that it’s pretty popular (look at all those reviews!) and the food looks great. I was just kidding but I’m not sure because it’s such a charming place that doesn’t quite have a restaurant feel but more like a home you’re welcome to go to for meals.
On a weekday around 10:30 am, I managed to snag the last available parking spot although I did see another sign that there were more parking in the back. The line was out the door and we probably waited for a good 10 minutes or so before we got to the counter to order. After ordering, we found seats and there were plenty to choose from (depending on how busy it gets) whether you choose to sit indoors, out on the porch or in the yard. Your order gets brought to you.
We got:
1. Country Breakfast — This came with two eggs, a choice of bacon or sausage, country potatoes and toast. I think this is pretty self-​explanatory but everything was well seasoned.
2. Tri Tip and Eggs — It has beef tri tip, country potatoes, two eggs and toast. The tri tip was also very well-​seasoned and there was an ample amount, too!
3. Simply Eggs & Potatoes — Just two eggs, country potatoes with a side of pancake. The pancake was SO good… I believe the girl who brought out our dishes stated that the caramel sauce was housemade… so we added that along with the syrup and butter and it was amazing.
4. Strawberry Lemonade — This was pretty good although I wouldn’t mind more of the strawberry flavor.
NOTE: You can definitely substitute your toast for something else instead such as pancake, biscuits & gravy, English muffin or bagel. You can substitute your potatoes for fruits instead; you can even just have all egg whites; and rather than bacon or sausage, there’s turkey sausage, too. All for an additional charge, of course.
Overall, it’s really a great place and we enjoyed eating here. I’d suggest getting the pancakes but they also have various breakfast items for you to choose. Highly recommended!

Have been here twice and really enjoyed it both times. It’s not a place I’d drive far for but it’s a local gem to me. There tends to be a line you have to stand in before you can grub (you order at the register and then pick your own table), so come with good company you won’t mind waiting with.
EGGS BENEDICT: Mouthwatering… I know there are mixed reviews on this, but I actually really enjoyed the eggs benny. Yes the eggs are made sunny side up but I really didn’t mind. If you’re a stickler about poached eggs I wouldn’t recommend this, but if it’s all about the runny yolk for you (like it is for me), order away. The hollandaise sauce is HNNNGHHHH SO GOOD… It was lightly spiced in a way that tied the dish together perfectly. And there was avocado. No complaints
CINNAMON SWIRL FRENCH TOAST: Texture isn’t my favorite, but it’s solid, and the caramel syrup/​drizzle that it comes with is so good. Not a must-​try, but it is good so if you’re already here then why not
SERVICE: Pretty standard, not great but not awful. Don’t remember much except that the serve forgot our OJ
Apparently the backyard/​lawn area is only open on Saturdays, which is kind of a bummer.
This place isn’t extraordinary, but that’s kind of what I like about it. Its homey vibe is charming and it doesn’t come off like it’s trying to cater to hipsters/​a certain crowd or anything. Avocado House is the type of spot you can depend on for a solid, satisfying brunch. Does feel just a bit too pricey though, so I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for a meal that’ll blow you away.

Been wanting to try this place for years… finally got around to do it today. Came for brunch and already saw a line outside the door. Luckily, the line moved quickly and I could see that there were lots of open tables around the house and in the backyard. We finally got inside the door and out from the chilly weather and saw there were several tables inside the restaurant as well. Most people were opting for outdoor seating since its really cute and tranquil looking. However, I wanted to sit inside since it was cold and I didn’t want my food getting cold too quickly.
You order at the counter first, then go find yourself a seat at one of their many tables.
We ended up getting the tri tip with country potato and upgraded to biscuits and gravy instead of toast and the meat lover’s omelet with country potato and your choice of toast. I went with sourdough and strawberry jam.
The food came out really fast, but it wasn’t really hot. The biscuit and gravy was barely warm and the country potatoes were basically cold. The tri tip was semi lukewarm. The only item that was still hot was the omelet.
Overall, the flavors were just average, if not, even a bit bland. Nothing really stood out and I really don’t like how the food was already so cold by the time it was brought to the table.
Service was fine, servers were friendly and cleared the tables quickly. There was a steady stream of people waiting in line to order. I just don’t see what all the hype is about though. I feel like the food didn’t really stand out. I feel like I coulda gotten better breakfast for cheaper from a Denny’s or IHOP. at least I could always count on the food being hot there.
The décor is cute and I really liked the cute outdoor seating area, but the food just didn’t wow me. Don’t think I’ll be back.

Made it for BREAKFAST: D Got here last thursday morning around 10:45am and there was no wait! The food came out fast and was delicious. I highly recommend ordering a side of gravy with the potatoes and toast. They have a wide variety of bread and jams which is awesome. Wish they gave more toast with the orders, because it is that good!
Try their daily soup! The tomato bisque and creamy vegetable are delicious!

A solid A-​ok breakfast spot with that home good feeling.
There are places you go back to because of the ambiance and there are places that make your list for the food. This place hits both marks and the simplest things like front porch seating makes this spot the cutest breakfast date spot around.
Food is delicious and portioned just right.
Is it the best we’ve ever had? No. Are we fans? Yes but the drive is a little out of our way … Just a bit. So it’s a 3 star A OK we’d be back kinda rate. No complaints.

I really can’t wait for Fall Quarter to start up so I can conveniently grab brunch after class here. My friend recommended this breakfast joint and I fell in love with the name already. I LOOVEE avocado soooo much, although I’m slightly allergic to them, that doesn’t stop me from eating them.
Parking is a little limited and they do get packed really quick! This neat and home-​y, mom and pop breakfast joint is literally a house that turned into a restaurant. Their line to order was already going out the door, I think I waited almost half an hour… but I can see why! They have a wide range of breakfast and lunch items on the menu. I ordered an omelette with a side of avocado toast! My friend ordered Steak and French toast! Both dishes came with a side of potatoes which tasted soooo great! The avocado toast was a great starter and perfectly toasted! Everything was super super appetizing and I look forward in visiting more often! Their portions are VERY generous. My friend and I couldn’t finish our food and had to pack the rest to-​go. Also, their strawberry lemonade was refreshing and perfectly sweetened! Free refills too! :)

Order first, pay, then sit and wait for your food. Line goes out the door. It’s crazy here. What’s in the food? Crack? No idea. Just a bunch of hungry lions. If you’re a breakfast lover, try it out. Lunch seems good too. I guess because the food is homemade and fresh. Eat inside or out on the porch. Come early! I must come back to try the cinnamon french toast.
