ACE Smog of Chino

Went in on a Saturday mid morning, and I got right in. It only took about 15 minutes, and I was out of there. Good service, and no hassle.

Super quick. No wait. Done in 15 min. There is no waiting area so we went into the doughnut shop in the same parking lot. Print the coupon in the photos for a GREAT deal!
Was not open at 8, opened at 9:15 am.

Courteous and prompt service. This location was recommended by my mechanic to get the smog check done on my car. Situated on Yorba and Riverside in Chino. At the 76 gas station. This is a Star smog station. DMV sometimes requires the smog check to be done by a Star station.
I pulled up and was greeted by the attendant. He quickly started working and within minutes was done. He electronically sends the certificate of completion directly to the DMV making it even easier.

I work the typical business hours 9 – 6 so I never had time during the week. I needed a last minute smog check to register my car, point was I called the shop up and asked if whoever in charge would make the exception to stay a bit after closing to smog my car… they did it!!! No «ifs ands or buts» I was so happy with the customer service and professionalism here! And it’s pretty cheap! So great full for this man’s kindness!!!

Came in for a smog. First the guy tells me my truck is old. So what? I not asking your opinon. Next he brings my truck in and looks up vin and said I need to take my truck to a referee maybe. I said why? He says maybe. He didnt even do the test and he saying this to me. He seemed scared to do my truck like he was worried if I was an investigator or something. Weird.

I have bad impression at first with ace smog but after 3 times I went here, finally Alex got my smog passed!
I think this place have decent price, the time wait not too long, Alex who help me move pretty fast to make my time in and out.
Just make sure Unilocalers, if you just change battery or jump start your car because you left light on or something, drive it for awhile first before get your test, or else going to end up like me, back and forth. Ace smog have printable coupon available which help with the price, but make sure you double check that it also include no pass, no pay! ;-) not all place provide the same kind of deal.

I went in for a smog check the other night. All other tests passed, but the guy fails me on the visual inspection because I didn’t have a sticker for my CARB legal intake system. He says just get the CARB sticker from the manufacturer, come back, and show it to him and he’ll pass me, I’ll just have to pay the fee for the cert. Sounded like he was just trying to follow the law, so fair enough, I went and acquired one. I returned this morning with the sticker. He then tries to charge me again to take the whole test after already providing me with documentation that my car passed all of the tests and telling me that he just needed to see the sticker! The other day all I needed to pay for was the cert, now I have to pay for the whole test again? There is a legal term for that called «misrepresentation». That’s ok, I’ll take your fail and take my business elswhere. To be fair, their price was cheaper (with coupon) than anywhere else I could find, so if you’re 110% sure your vehicle will pass, you might save $ 10 coming here with a coupon, however, integrity matters, so I wouldn’t give this place another dime.

Got there to get a smog done, the technician there was very helpful and fun to talk with. but price wise, it’s slightly expensive than rowland height area. but this place get me in and out for less than 20 min. I will go there again for my other car.

First of all the last thing I want to do is go and get a Smog check! I was very satisfied with the professional service and how fast I was in and out!
The technician was Honest and my car passed!!! Yeah, I would highly recommend!
