Smile On 3 Photo Booths

Extremely disappointed to have to write a negative comment, but I have been given no other choice. On 10÷23÷15, my husband and I hired SO3 photo booth for our wedding. We ordered the package that included our guests being able to leave video messages for us. The night of the event and leading up to that, service was excellent, however after the wedding I waited a week to hear about the progress of our video messages and when I hadn’t heard or received any information I emailed Stephanie to inquire about them. I asked if maybe I misunderstood the process, do I download them myself from online, do I provide a flash drive for her? She reassured me she had been sick and was running behind but she’d have them out by early November. I eagerly awaited the mail everyday despite caring for an aunt who was dying of cancer at the time, our wedding was the last time she would ever leave her bed. Despite several sent emails, and phone calls that went unanswered and unreturned, we paid for a service that we never received. Our guests frequently ask us about the messages they left, if they can see them too, and it’s embarrassing and painful to know we’ve never seen them and most of all I will never have the lasting video from one of my aunt’s last good days, she died just 2 weeks after our wedding. So if anyone reads this and can either help us contact Stephanie to rectify this situation or even if you just read this and use it as a warning for yourself, I hope this information is helpful to you.

This is probably the most incompetent company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. They got the contract for Clayton Valley Charter High School Yearbook, and as part of that deal offered several packages on top of the mandatory yearbook picture. I paid over $ 200 in August for a package of photos that I picked up today. You might ask why it’s taken so long. I did and never got any answer that made sense. Numerous phone calls (unreturned) and several emails later, I still have no idea why it has taken so long. Except that the last two weeks they were trying to call a number that had been discontinued, because they had taken my real number down incorrectly. They never tried other ways to contact me, such as replying to my emails or even contacting the school for my number. On top of that, the pictures were very poor quality. Much too dark.

Non-​existent customer service. Trying to get into contact with this company is like pulling teeth. I got the ball rolling early on our wedding planning and booked this photobooth last year. Sure, it’s easy and very convenient to book through an automated booking system. What I usually expect is for someone to follow up. There was almost zero human interaction. The main number on their website does not work, none of the emails I sent got any replies, I had to leave numerous voicemails and texts to the number on their website. I got a reply once out of all those instances from Stephanie, promising to get in touch via phone. No such luck. I put down a refundable deposit, which says I will get my full amount back if I cancel no less than 10 days from the event. I CANCELLED MY BOOKING AND HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY MONEY BACK. Such a disappointment, so unprofessional!!!

Smile on 3 (SO3) was referred to me for an upcoming party I am producing and after seeing their website I was excited to speak with them and get them booked for the event. After a few phone calls and an email, I unfortunately did not here back from them for a few days until I finally received a phone call from Stephanie. After apologizing for there delayed response time, I was assured they could do the job and would be happy to work with us on our party. Understanding that sometimes companies get busy and response times can be delayed during the holiday season I took their apology and really looked forward to having them onsite with us.
Stephanie said to text her my email and she would send us a quote that I could then send my client. The very same night I sent her a text with my email and thanked her for her time.
It has now been over a week and I have not heard anything from them despite 2 follow up calls… WHAT A DISAPPOINTMENT! Smile on 3 seems more like «Smile whenever it is convenient for us»

Smile on 3 provided the photo booth at my recent wedding! It was a hit and there was a line the whole night. They have a great selection of props and are user friendly!

Smile On 3 did a great job at my wedding! I had almost every single guest in the booth taking pictures! It was definitely a hit! She arrived on time and set up before our «start» time.

*it stated we would be receiving a usb made with our wedding colors, etc and Im not sure exactly what happened but i think they forgot it and so she gave me a usb she already had. I got my pictures that night (which is what i wanted) so I do not blame them for that but for those reasons i have to take off 1 star.
All in All, Smile On 3 photo booths did an awesome job and I def recommend them to book for your future events!

There are not enough stars to rate this company! I was absolutely amazed at their professionalism and flexibility. Fred and the crew were outstanding. I met Fred at a bridal expo and from that moment I knew I needed the positive and smiling faces of the smile-​on-​3 staff. I actually only had about a month and a half before my wedding (March 7, 2015) and Fred was on it. He kept in contact (even when I was horrible at returning calls due to getting sick), and made sure everything was prepared in time to make my day perfect. All of my guest were commenting on how much they loved the 2 photo booths (two different styles prepared by Fred and and crew), and how friendly all of the staff were. They were on time and even stayed a little later than agreed. The photos, photo scrapbook, and video montage were awesome (great quality). I will. be recommending them to all my family and friends in the area. Thanks Smile-​On-​3, you were the best choice I could have made for my special day! (Thanks Fred for everything)…Love, Love, Love this group!

I needed something great for my daughter’s quinceañera tonight and Smile On 3 delivered and then some. I will definitely be using them in the future. Great professional top-​notch service. Thank you so very much for making this once-​in-​a-​lifetime night complete.

Stephanie and Fred have it going on! They always go the extra mile and provide awesome service. It was a pleasure having them at my work Christmas party. If you want something memorable, fun, and affordable, Smile On 3 is it! They have a variety of booths too, so that gives a chance to get something more of your liking. Imagine taking pictures with family, friends, coworkers, right in the comfort of your home, or wherever you’d like. I’m always happy to do business with them, and I hope you will too!

I didn’t personal hire smile on 3, but my cousin did for her husbands birthday party. The reason I feel the need to write a review is because I loved their service while at the party. The attendant was fun, and she talked to everyone. It seemed like she enjoyed what she was doing. It really set the mood for the party. The props were average, good quality, but it was comforting to see them disinfect them through out the night and spray lice prevention spray on the hats and wigs. I hadn’t seen that with any other photo booth.
I will be hiring smile on 3 for my own personal parties.

First off I want to give a huge Thank you directly to Stephanie and Fred who from the moment we got their business card and had a little chat, I knew I wanted to book them for our event. Our event just so happened to be the following weekend so I was thinking there was just no way we could book them so quickly. They checked their calendars and events and we were lucky enough to be able to have SO3 come and be apart of our Jingle Bell Knokx 2014 wrestling event.
From the set up to take down and all of the wonderful moments in between our guests felt like they were receiving the full red carpet treatment. It is obvious that this is a photo booth company who takes pride in their finished product and are not satisfied unless the guests are. I have seen a multitude of photo booth companies and how they run from years of previous venue management and hands down SO3 takes the cake on their look of professionalism (their set up is something right out of Hollywood), the high quality of the on the spot photos, and amount of smiles I could see leaving the booth with their fully interactive Otto Von photos. Thank you Fred and Stephanie so very much for making our event look top notch, and for the photos being soooo Awesome! We look forward to working with you both for our future events. I will continue to recommend SO3 photo booths to anyone planning a party or event and want their guests to be treated to the phenomenal service you provided to our guests.

Planning a surprise party was difficult work, but this company helped create magic! They were extremely flexible and efficient with all my requests. From booking to reviewing prior to the party it was all handeled in a purely professional manner. And come time for set up they had a limited amount of space and it worked perfectly for the surprise. All the guests enjoyed the photo booth and it made for the perfect souvenirs for the guests. I would definately book this photo booth company again for any occasion I am planning.

We used SO3 for my dad’s 70^th birthday party. I was hesitant at first thinking an older crowd of senior citizens wouldn’t be game, but by golly EVERYONE loved it. We already knew the kids were going to love it, but the seniors and adults were tickled with the idea of going into a photo booth, dressing up with their unique props and taking photos. What sets Smile on 3 apart from all the photo booth companies is the personalized service (right from the time of booking), to the friendly staff, to the high tech, new equipment. Bob was extremely friendly and always checked in if we were o.k. He was extremely hospitable! The price was extremely reasonable! We will definitely use them again at a future event.

They truly go beyond what you expect for customer service, design, and execution of a photo booth business. Affordable and on point, Sheer Beauty Skincare will definitely use them again and me possibly for a family occasion. Thank you Stephanie and Fred!

This is my first review. I was so impressed with Smile on 3’s service, I am actually taking a bit of time from my 4 kids to write this. Yesterday, we had the pleasure of having Smile on 3 at our children’s birthday party. Prior to the event, there were a few issues that I kept asking Stephanie about, and she was VERY professional with her response time. I was also very impressed with their patience when I asked them to revise the template for the printed photos. There were a couple bumps in the road to getting the whole show on the road during the party, but Bob was awesome. He handled everything professionally and compensated for any inconveniences.
Smile on 3s setup is very nice. They have a VIP red carpet setup which was nice especially on the day of the Oscars. They also have a very good assortment of props. They are very affordable and will be a great addition to any party. Thank you so much Bob and Stephanie. You guys really are as good as it gets!

Stephanie and Fred have a great photo booth and are very professional ! They came to a holiday company party and were a big hit! They had cool customized cards that the pictures are printed on to match the theme of the party, They also have great props and quality pictures. Thank you guys for the great pictures !

My husband and I just got married in October and everyone is still talking about how AWESOME the photobooth was! I contacted Stephanie a few months before our wedding and she was so nice and extremely helpful in the weeks leading up to our wedding! I wish I could rate this photobooth higher because of how sweet Stephanie was and how PERFECT all of the pictures turned out!!! :)

Smile on 3 Photo Booth is A-​M-​A-​Z-​I-​N-​G!!! If I could give them 10 stars I would. I was looking for an affordable photo booth company to come to our home in San Diego for my daughter’s birthday party. In my search, I found companies charging $ 400-​$ 800 per gig, which is way too much money for a couple hours of fun for a group of young girls IMO. When I came across Smile on 3’s posting on Craigslist, I was admittedly very skeptical… no Unilocal or Google reviews, lower pricing than competitors, not located in the San Diego area, etc… but I, being the frugal mother who wanted a fantastically successful party for her daughter, decided to give them a call… and send an inquiry via their gorgeous website.
The owner of the company, Stephanie, is a brilliant, personable, highly-​motivated, young entrepreneur who is extremely professional, attentive to details, thorough, and exhibits tremendous communication skills. I was seriously blown away with how this gal has created such an impressive business. Everything a customer could want for in a photo booth company/​service (or any company/​business/​service, for that matter!) was in perfect place. Stephanie was quick to return my initial call and discuss details with me. She was very flexible in scheduling, negotiating a personalized package with me, and offered extremely reasonable pricing (especially considering the competitor’s rates). She was always very quick to respond to any questions I had throughout the process. Stephanie and Frederick (who was just as wonderful to deal with!) worked to create a special graphic/​wording for the photo strips in advance.
On the day of the event, Stephanie and Frederick arrived on time to set up, stayed the full time, provided great props for the kids, created a personalized photo/​scrap album (on the spot!) for my daughter with photo strips from the party, and gave us a USB memory stick with ALL the photos taken that day. Throughout the entire event, Stephanie and Frederick were very friendly, helpful, and courteous with/​to me and the guests. The booth set-​up itself is highly attractive and comfortable and the quality of the photos are terrific.
Stephanie also arranged (negotiated pricing, duration of show, day/​time, arranged payment, etc…) for an awesome magician, Justin Rivera, to come to the party. He does show for all ages –big shows even, like at the casinos, etc… but I tell you what… he sure knew how work a crowd of seven year olds and their parents! The magic was very entertaining and he was super funny. I highly recommend Justin, as well.
I seriously can’t express how totally wonderful this company is and how very, very satisfied we were with the service delivered. Please don’t hesitate to book Smile on 3 photo booth because there aren’t a ton of reviews just yet… it is a newer business (though you’d never guess it by how well she runs everything) but I’m guessing it won’t be long before we see this gal listed in the Fortune 500 with her passion, professionalism, and drive!
