History

Established in 2009.

Nico’Z, (pronounced NEEK-O’Z), opened the doors in Chillicothe, Missouri on June 15, 2009. The first location was on the North side of the downtown square, next to the Silver Moon Plaza, a small cozy eatery that was opened to provide a healthier choice for lunch.

After two and a half years of business, lunches exceeded the seating space of the first location so a new location opened in November 2011! Nicole prepares Soups, Wonderful Salads, Daily Seasonal Specials, Specialty Pizzas, Hot Sandwiches and a Friendly Atmosphere. Make sure you have your fill of your favorites, the menu changes quarterly to keep it new and interesting.

Meet the Business Owner

Nicole B.

Business Owner

Nicole Cleaveland Booth was born and raised in Chillicothe, Missouri. After graduating from the Univeristy of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelors Degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where she resided for over 7 years. Satisfied with achieving many goals & fabulous opportunities in the hospitality field (Station Casinos, Inc, Harrah’s Inc, The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino), moved home to marry longtime friend and schoolmate, Dave Booth, who is responsible for the name of the café. The Z is for her mother Zelma.

After moving back to Chillicothe and working for a couple of other businesses, Nicole decided that if she was to survive the small-town life, it was time to create something that was a challenge. Originally, the idea was to just do catering, but when the opportunity for the downtown location of the business arose… Why not do lunches?
