This little gem is nestled in a well placed establishment on Paint Street. Known for his creative nature and owner operator business platform Chef Shawn has created and maintained a beautiful addition to the Chillicothe restaurant scene. Hand made pizzas, home made Caesar dressing, and a revolving specials board make this a one of a kind in a small town. What would cost you double in a large city, is better here for a better prize. Truly a gem.

First time at this restaurant. It is very cozy in there. The food came out to us very hot and fast. Our order was messed up and they gave us a free 10″ pizza for the mistake. I will definitely come back again.

Salad, knots & pizza were all awesome! We will be back. The salad was so fresh and tasteful. The knots are a must try. The have a great garlic taste. Try them with cold & hot red sauce. The pizza was great. Not to filling. Perfect taste.

Stopped in for pizza at dinner. We were half way through a long road trip and this place rated well on Unilocal — and we try to avoid the chain places. The atmosphere is good, beer was cold(although a very limited selection on tap with no local brews). The pizza was very good. Hand tossed and cooked basically right in front of you since you can see into the kitchen. The cons… the crust could be crispier on the bottom, and the waitress was a real detraction. Both our pizzas came out incorrectly and she didn’t even notice. We pulled her back and she seemed confused on what to do. She also spilled beer into my daughters pizza when bringing it to the table. Finally she sat at the bar for more than 5 minutes chatting with a customer while another couple waited for their check. My advice to the owners — don’t let an unprofessional waitress bring down your good concept. There are far too many awesome professionals out there to let that nonsense go on in your nice restaurant.

Great food! If you love thin crust this is the place for you! I got the DeGarmo and it was fantastic!

This place deserves the many good reviews it gets. The owners and staff have put a lot of thought into the pizzas with their inventive toppings and thin crusts. Mine had fennel, carmelized onions and Italian sausage. They use a lovely light tomato sauce with finely ground cornmeal worked in. I took a bowl of their gazpacho soup to go and… oh…oh…it had a lovely light burn in the mid-section of my tongue. So complex with flavor and the fixings that go with it. The waitress included little tubs of sour cream, green onions and from-scratch croutons. These folks are serious about flavor. This place is easy to find in downtown Chillicothe and you can park, even with an RV, just a block away.

Great location and super nice staff! Love sitting outside when the weather is nice! Thanks for always accommodating my Mediterranean salad with no lettuce! Reminds me of being in Greece– just wish I could have it in a bowl! Will continue to go back!

Shawn has started several businesses in our little small town. And from the first one he started, which I loved, I became a fan of his«work ». I use the word work because he puts so much effort into his restaurant projects. I am an entrepreneur myself and respect the work it takes to go from vision to daily operations. I have eaten at several other locations in larger cities that have Fire stone ovens and the taste of the pizza has always been very good. Our small town pizzeria has hit the mark and ranks as good as if not better than others I have sampled. I have eaten there four times. The taste and ingredients are very fresh and very creative. A local treasure of ours and I so hope it is successful. Oh, also, I don’t leave many reviews. First time on Unilocal, but wanted to share my positive experience.

There is nothing better than finding a local dining diamond. I am a huge sucker for small town, old downtown revival type restaurants. There are so many of these type towns in Ohio with old buildings and entrepreneurs who take a chance and create something unique are winners in my book. Found Fire and Stone on Unilocal… a beautiful evening drive over with the windows open in the Challenger; parked right out front in old downtown. Sat at the bar/counter and ordered up a Fat Tire. High ceilings, big windows, narrow profile… prototypical downtown design. Love it! They have a fired pizza oven and after reading reviews knew this was thin crust(yes). It sits in the back and you can see from the counter. Ordered a salad and the DeGarmo pie. The salad wasn’t anything to write home about(called Just the Basics) and it was fine. The pizza was terrific however… thin and crispy crust with a generous amount of toppings. Next time i would try something more traditional(mozzarella, basil, etc.) but it was very good. I would have liked the crust to be just a tad more crispy. What a great local place for pizza… next time I’m in town on business I will be stopping back. Really really enjoyed this place.

Great location, right in the historic downtown area. I ordered the forager pizza and it was delicious… loved the fresh mushrooms and greens. They had a couple of good brews on tap as well. Nothing too fancy but they had good service, food was reasonably priced and it was everything I’d expect in a brick oven pizza joint.

If you’re in the mood for pizza but not a chain restaurant, you need to check out Fire and Stone Pizzeria. Great gourmet pizza at a great price. Dining in is fun, and take out is handy. If you’re a meat lover like me, go with the DeGarmo. SOGOOD.

I have only been there a couple of times, but they have very good pizza. Cooked in a Firestone it is different than any other pizza in town. They had a very limited bar selection, but that can always change. The inside looks very nice.

This pizzeria just opened, so I was a little skeptical to stop. I always like to give an eatery a little while to work out the kinks before stopping in. I was pleasantly surprised by the service, menu and atmosphere. Located in historic downtown Chillicothe, this pizzeria sure knows how to please. Fresh ingredients, stone fired pizza and superb service is exactly what I received. I had the caprese salad, which was to die for. Fresh mozzarella cheese,(which I assume was made in house) along with that lovely balsamic dressing(which I also assume was made in house due to the consistency) had me on cloud nine. My personal pizza was the DeGarmo, capicola, Canadian bacon, pepperoni and applewood bacon. It was amazing to say the least. The crust was fresh with a smoky fire grilled hint. I am not a fan of crust typically, but I savored every bite. I will certainly be back as it was amazing food and it felt good to patronize a small mom and pop business. I’m a bit of an architecture nerd, so admiring the stained glass detail on the door on my way out, made my choice for lunch, a great one that day.

Great pizza. Nice crispy crust. Came out in a timely manner and the service was friendly and efficient. We liked the décor and it was clean. We tried the Degarmo. Basically their meats pizza and a pepperoni in case some of the meats turned off some of our picky eaters. Both were great, especially the Degarmo, and all the family loved the Degarmo meaning we’ll get one of those next time and try something different. We’ll be eating here again sooner than later.

Fairly good pizza with good toppings. The crust was a bit doughy as it could have baked a bit longer. A few beers on tap and the addition of wines in the near future according to the bartender. Blue moon, Fat tire ale, Portsmouth Pilsner, and bud light on tap. Mid afternoon, not very busy yielded a quick turnaround on the pizza. Certainly worth a try, but hopefully they will add more topping options and increase the bake time.
