Balloons at the Park Illinois State Championship Hot Air Balloon Race & Festival is an annual event held at Three Sisters Park in Chillicothe, Illinois (just 20 miles from Peoria).

Ballooning festivities include friendly, BFA (sanction pending) competitions with cash prizes, and state championship recognition and evening glows. We are scheduling a «glow» (balloons will be lit up in the sky) on Friday and Saturday for the public to attend, providing an opportunity to interact with all the pilots and crews.

Back for its second year, this event includes live entertainment, kids activities, monster truck rides, vintage fire truck displays, lift and tethered rides, fireworks and much more. With over 40 hot air balloons, and fun for the whole family, this is an event not to be missed.
