This place is always very clean. Almost every single washer is a front loader of all different sizes. I’ve noticed the person who takes care of it is in constantly cleaning the machines and the floor.

I’m a neighbor and I like to support local businesses, like most reasonable folks, right? I spent the past year-and-a-half frequenting the Laundry Room, primarily for convenience sake. And the longer I stayed a client, the worse the service became. To begin with, on average, 2⁄3 of the machines are broken on any given day. The change machine works, most of the time, but only because I have invested time into babying it and learning all the tricks it takes to coerce it into kicking back quarters. There is a broken soda machine and the restaurant next door wants $ 2 for a can of Coke. The machines go uncleaned and unmaintained most of the time. In addition, the local homeless population hangs out here in the rainy season and because there is no restroom, someone began peeing on the floor, so it smells like a men’s room if you sit down on the bench they have provided. The last time I visited was the last straw. Someone had seen fit to dump some rocks and sticks into the barrel of the only working machine in that particular sections of washers. My suggestion would be to hire a volunteer who can man the place and work for tips only. It would make the place secure, clean and maybe draw some business. As for me, I’ll be saving up for my own washer/dryer and in the meantime, going to Bubbles.

Shocking! Worst laundromat ever. Most of the machines on the blink with no signs on them, so they happily gobble your money first.

If I could give this place no stars I would. But I don’t have that option. For a regular wash it’s 2.00, for a bigger machine 3.75, and the super big ones are 5.00 and one was 5.50 which they were the same machine and the others were all broken! The advertised wi-fi didn’t work. And the place is filthy. People smoking right by the door so it was all coming inside the building… Half the machines are broken and the floors are gross! Also we put our clothes in the dryer and put 50 cents in and it stole our money, we had to move our clothes to a different machine. To be frank and to the point don’t come here it’s a waste of time, money, and energy to come to this nasty place!!! Oh there was also no bathrooms, no tv, and the soda machine they had didn’t work. There was only 2 benches and they are hard, warped and very uncomfortable! Their business license they have displayed, expired in 2008! It also smelled like someone peed right by the soda machine. Gross, gross, gross!!!

This place is awful, nothing works, it’s overpriced, filthy and overpriced. There is nothing nice to say about this place, 24 out of 43 machines machines don’t work, the change machine doesn’t work the soap dispenser doesnt work. Looked around and noticed there business license expired in 2008. The wifi(wich is the reason we came here) doesnt work. This is the first and last time I will ever come here

I have only been here once and that’s the only time I’ll go in. The smell is really unpleasant. It’s messy. The equipment doesn’t work, or may break down on you when you use it. I tried washing a couple loads of clothes, and a small load of(3) utility rugs. I ended up using one of the front loader washers for the rugs, and in the middle of the wash, the machine locked up with water in it unfinished and wouldn’t let me open it. I had to call the management to come by. Meanwhile, my clothes were done in the washer and I could not get the dryer doors to stay shut while they dried. I wasted a lot of money because its not like the time is paused on the machine when the door opens! When management came by to assist me with the broken washing machine, they said I put too many rugs in it and caused it to clog. I put in 3 rugs! THREE. Who in their right mind would pay $ 3.50 to wash less than 3 rugs? Not this girl. I have been to plenty of other mats where I could wash like 5 rugs in one machine no problem. While I’m making this argument with them, I am STILL trying to get the dryer doors to shut. They told me I also put too many clothes in the dryer and the weight is pushing the door open. They suggested I only put 2 – 3(yes, TWOTOTHREE) pieces of clothing in multiple dryers to get them to stay shut and properly dry my clothes. First off, I should be able to put a normal sized load of clothes into one dryer with no problem. It was the door that didn’t latch, not the weight of my clothes causing it to fly open. Second, even if I took their advice of putting a few things of clothing into multiple machines, that makes me the jerk in the laundromat that’s hogging all the dryers, so no one else would be able to use them! I am not gonna be that jerk! Again, I have put way more clothes into other machines without them breaking at other laundromats than these. They are supposed to be industrial equipment, and when we pay to use them, we expect them to work! I was appalled and embarrassed that these managers(men) could tell ME(a woman) how to do my laundry and how to use laundry machines. The nerve.

This is by far the worst laundromat that I have been to in Chico. I have come here four times and each time nearly half of the machines are out of order, the entire place is filthy, most of the washers smell like something died in them and the change machine won’t take new $ 10 or $ 20 bills. The«free wifi» advertised on the door does not work, you can connect but there appears to be no Internet to be found. On top of all of these things, the rates are higher than most of the other Laundromats here.
