NOFREECHIPS&SALSA *CORRECTION: THEYJUSTGAVEMEFREECHIPS&SALSA lol: D As advertised on other reviews here. That is honestly the reason I came here, and since so many people said they had the best salsa in town. Shame. But then they just came out and gave me some yay! I’m sorry I’m a poor cheap customer. And I like my Mexican restaurants with all the chips and salsa stuffing. The salsa was delicious. Super Burrito was Delicious and juicy and hot. Lots of guac and sour cream — yes. Decent prices, maybe just 50 cents more than Tack truck prices. Taco chico(typical taco truck taco) was good too. 4 stars for the delicious food, happy service, and free chips and salsa, –1 for having to ask for the chips and salsa and asking for $ 2 Thank you for coming through with it though! You just kept a customer, since that is incentive enough to venture the extra distance past the other 5 – 8 good mexican food places near me.

This is a hole in the wall hidden gem. A favorite place for me to eat. Love their chicken fajitas some of the best in town, very friendly staff and they always greet you with a smile. The place my not look like much but dont judge a book by its cover you wont regret it.

This is one of my favorite places in Chico to get Mexican food. The service is friendly and fast, and the food is delicious. Seriously, everything I have gotten has been so good. My favorite item though, has to be the Chile Relleno plate. Best chile rellenos in town.

The only thing that could be better is their prices. They’re just a tad overpriced for what they’re putting out. It is authentic, always seems fresh(enough), their chips and salsa are great, they have posole!(which is surprisingly hard to find in town) and the lady up front is very friendly. Most likely the best pastor in town.

Came by to give it a try and glad I’d did. I got a catnita and beef taco, they were both very good. Next time I’m in chico I will be coming here again. Service and food was very good.

I finally found a good Mexican food in Chico! You definitely have a returning customer. Great tacos, tastes like how my family makes them.

Best bacon breakfast burrito I’ve ever had! The tacos are pretty good too. I eat here all the time and they are always very nice. The only reason I’m not giving them a 5 star rating is because they close on random days. Those days make me sad.

I am very picky when it comes to Mexican food because my mom is an amazing cook but this place is delicious. The owners are also the sweetest people ever! Their enchilada plate is one of my favorites but I dont think I’ve ever tried anything on their menu that I didn’t like. Their complimentary chips and salsa are also delicious. Everything from the food to the service is great at tacos tijuana. Definitely a must try if you like Mexican food.

I LOVE this place, they prepare your food super fast, always give me free chips and the best salsa verde. Their burritos are big and super tasty. The woman who works the register is so sweet! It’s almost never busy but it should be because it’s awesome!

My boyfriend and I just got done eating here and the only reason why I didn’t give them 5 stars was because it was our first time and I am dying to try more food before I give them 5! Buttttt the food and service was amazing. I got the chile relleno and my boyfriend got the carnitas which both plates included rice, beans, guacamole, pico de gallo, and our choice of tortillas(mine also included sour cream, no extra charge). Free chips and salsa while waiting for the food and it all came to about 24 bucks. You would think that would be expensive for a taqueria but the portions are huge lol. The service was quick and the lady who helped us was really nice. You would miss this place if you weren’t purposely looking for it which would suck for you because it was so worth it. It’s located next to a laundromat on park going towards 20th street. Give them a shot! we will defiantly be back here to try more of their items. Oh and they have weekly specials on combo plates, just an fyi. Enjoy.

This place is great. The owner lady is extremely nice and she provides great fast service. The food is really good cheap price so it’s a little bit smaller portion compared to other places. I always order the enchiladas and they are as close as authentic as you can get in Chico. I am from Bay Area and Mexican and this was the only place I like for Mexican food so far.

The owners are very friendly and the food is good. Free chips and salsa with meals. We get take out a lot there so they know us when we come in and have our order ready. Price is not too expensive. My favorite is the tacos

Just got two shrimp tacos and a quesadilla. Pretty hard to mess up but unfortunately it happened. Quesadilla had hardly any cheese and some dry Carne Asada in it. It was super small and cost around $ 5. Very unsatisfied. The girlfriend got ceviche, she’s Mexican and said it was ok. The Mexican food out here in Chico needs work. Why does nobody out here know what Carne Asada fries are?!?

It’s been a long time since this location was«El Indio» and I’ve been searching for great taquitos ever since. I’m pleased to announce that Tacos Tijuana did exceptionally well! The order of 3 chicken taquitos was served hot, with lettuce, sour cream and plenty of guacamole on top. Delicious. My husband had a taco pastor and a carne asada taco and he would go back for the carne asada, for sure.(«Pastor was good. Carne asada was great.») The chips were crisp, the salsa was almost sweet, but tasty and the guacamole was light and fresh. The staff was friendly and helpful; the décor and seating is a bit worn, but clean. The only bummer was we really wanted a nice cold beer to go with our meal and alas…

This was such a good find. My husband and I were in Chico at a conference and were trying to find a taqueria near the conference. We found this place in Google Maps and. decided to try it. So good! Very pleased. My husband had 3 small carne Assad tacos, which were $ 1 each. I had a shrimp tostada and added refried beans to it. Which I know seems weird since shrimp tostadas are served cold and the beans are hot. But I love eating shrimp tostadas with refried beans. :-) I already want to go back!

I remember going here when I was a little boy with my father. He told me about this hole in the wall place that has amazing food. I forgot about this place for a long time and recently rediscovered it. It was like a 2nd Christmas! I always get the chicken super burrito with no rice(not a huge rice fan, I’m a bit ricist). They give you free chips and salsa with your food and it is some of the best salsa Chico has to offer. This place has the best authentic Mexican flavor in all of Chico. Love it.

This place looks like a hole in the wall which isn’t helped by the Laundro-Mat next store with a painted picture of a girl with the center of her boobs scratched off… sigh…(but yes I looked). That being said it is probably one of my favorite mexican places in Chico… and perhaps the world… ok not the world. The people are wonderful, it is quick, delicious, and they have giant cokes — what is there to complain about. The portions are just right and their chicken nachos are amazingly good. I really like this place and because of it have stopped eating at my favorite taco trucks… that’s love people.

This is what a neighborhood eatery should be about. Locals serving the homestyle food that they know how to cook in a very warm atmosphere. No décor to speak of… sort of like your Aunt’s kitchen. Of course, they serve homestyle mexican here.
