The receptionists are so rude, I’ve been to different places all over the world and yet to see a place so unprofessional and rude. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again. This feels like a joke, a mean one. I’m sick of handing over the little money that I have for nothing. I’m sick of being sent home with no results, no conclusions, and no peace of mind. Maybe it’s Chico or the medical system in general but I feel No medical professional ever takes me seriously. They just suck money out of me, causing even more anxiety. I go home feeling worse than I did when I went in. I started having pretty bad panic attacks after my primary doctor blankly told me that I have anxiety. I wasn’t aware of this, and it started messing up my head even more than it already was. He didn’t do anything to help me. He didn’t suggest anything. He just coldly sent me away with a «diagnosis» and without a care. I’ve been meaning to find a new doctor, but I’ve been so turned off and embarrassed by the medical system, that I honestly believe that staying home and suffering is a better idea than going into a hospital and spending money that I don’t have for something that won’t help me in the least bit. That’s not right. That’s not how it’s supposed to be.

I live in Redding, but can barely stomach their commercial. The lady who speaks has a serious nasal issue. Please change the ad!

Kind of pointless to «establish a relationship» here because the docs come and go. When a new one comes in, you have to wait a month for an appointment because you are now«establishing a relationship» with a «new provider». Doesn’t matter that you’ve been there before. All I needed was a blood pressure check and refill on blood pressure meds I’ve been taking for well over 10 years. No matter… first appointment available is a month from now because they hired a new doc. When I have been in previously for blood tests, they never followed up on results that were outside of normal. The word«Care» in their name is pretty meaningless.

We had a problem with a serious medical problem that was being treated with a highly restricted diet. We changed primary care to another facility and received referals to the specialists we needed since September 2014. In mitigation is the recent information that Dr. Valankala(physician in question) is no longer with Premier Primary Care and has, «moved on». Unfortunately we have too.
