Kennedy, a nephew of Annie and General Bidwell, who developed the Chico area through a land grant in the 1800’s. Sometime after Mr. Kennedy established his practice in approximately 1896, Jerome Peters, Sr. joined Mr. Kennedy in the practice of law, followed by his son, Jerome Peters, Jr. Areas of the firm’s practice now extend to all of Northern California. Emphasis is placed on a broad range of litigation matters and legal representation. The firm encourages active community involvement by its members in civic and professional activities.
