OP Nails & Spa

I went to them a couple times before they moved (stopped going cause I couldn’t wear acrylics at work) Went back right before thanksgiving to their new location and I love them!!! I also got my eyebrows waxed and I have never had so many compliments on them! Highly recommend!

I love this place! I’ve been going here for seven years. Maybe more. They’ve moved recently to Notre dame boulevard. If you are into fancy don’t go here. This place isn’t that. A husband and wife owns the place and it’s more of a family establishment. It’s great.

I went here to get a pedi and acrylic set. The pedicure was amazing. The environment was quiet and the massage chair did the trick for my back. However, my nails were a different story. 2 hours after leaving my nail polish got gunky and ruined. The next day I went back and the owner «fixed» them. He didn’t remove any color. Just applied ANOTHER coat. One week later. 3 of my nails are broken off. The color has come off on the tips of all of them and their ruined beyond repair. 50 dollars later and I’m taking them all off. I’d recommend looking somewhere else.

This place is clean peaceful and the work is spectacular. It’s not crazy busy so there was no wait. My nails looks beautiful and I’m glad I found these guys again. They used to be over by Best Buy and they moved. Reunited at last! Come visit you won’t be sorry!!!

So, my mother and I went to try this nail salon because of the great ratings. This is how it went:
Pros:
The place is beautiful and you walk in and they immediately tend to you which is usually a good sign. Unfortunately not for this.
Cons:
They sat my mother and I down and there was no one else in the salon but they were anxious about everything and very quick but in the worst way possible. They were doing my mom’s manicure while she was getting her pedicure and I was getting my nails prepped for the manicure. They did not ask my mother to wash her hands after the prepping nor did she get a massage :(They finished her mani pedi in half of the time than mine and they made me go to a manicure station while they did my mom’s mani pedi at the pedicure station. She was then forced to wait for me to finish my manicure while she had paint all on the sides of her nails. My nails were poorly done and I asked for a design on one of my nails and the person that did it dug the toothpick into the nail which completely ruined the manicure, on top of the fact that they were acting like we were a bother and my nails have already started peeling after 48 hours of having a gel manicure. Huge disappointment to say the least. I recently moved away for college and wanted some quality time with my mom and being rushed out of a nail salon with a poor mani pedi is not the way I wanted to spend that quality time.
I honestly know that there is potential for this place but I wish that they would just slow down and actually do a proper job. Quick service is always welcomed but not like this.

I’m not sure why everyone else gave such high reviews.
Pros:
Large open layout.
I went right around when they opened in the morning and the took me immediately as a walk in.
Cons:
Everything that has to do with my nails.
Manicure was terrible.
–A man filed my nails and did a crappy job, my nails shouldn’t have snags in them after being filed.
–He didn’t do much to my cuticles.
–Arm massage was short :(
–The lady doing my pedicure painted my nails and wow did she do the worst job ever. The paint on my nails was horrific. One coat was ok looking then the 2^nd coat only covered half of my nail. I can paint my own nails better.
–The polish that was on my skin around the nail wasn’t cleaned off.
My pedicure was slightly better but definitely not good.
–Not sure how clean their tools are (I’m used to my salon back home that took their tools out of the sterilizer or sterilizer package right when using them).
–The massage was more like a rub. It didn’t even feel like anything.
Both my finger and toe nails chipped in less than a day. Super disappointed. I wish I had taken a pic of my nails but I removed the polish quickly and painted them myself.

Today was the first time I visited this salon. I decided to try a new place because it was getting too expensive where I usually get my nails done. I could not be more disappointed. I got a gel manicure and there are dents in the polish and some of my nails aren’t even completely painted. The lady who did my manicure was rushing so much that she rubbed my hands for a total of 2 minutes and she was rubbing so fast that I couldn’t even enjoy it. I won’t be returning here for any of their services.

Love that I can walk in and get my nails done without an appointment! Staff and owners are great. Everything is very clean and their prices are great.

I have never had my nails done here, always pedicures. For their deluxe pedicure they spend so much time pampering you and the products they use feel amazing. I really like their new location, it is not the most obvious to get to, but the ambiance is better. (located next to Les Schwab on Notre Dame across Raley’s) I did not get my pedicure done by Kyle, however, he is SO nice and has excellent customer service. He makes you feel welcome and he definitely cares about customers. I’ll definitely be going back!

This is my first visit to this place but I absolutely love it! Awesome prices, services and the ambiance is really relaxing. I will be sure to come back!
