The Las Vegas based company out of prestige photography is the worst run business that I have ever seen. After not receiving any proofs to choose for Christmas cards we were informed that my senior would have to retake her photos because the computer had crashed. We were offered a 40% discount for the inconvenience of having to come back down and have to redo a whole setting. We felt this was wonderful at the time. We ordered a large package along with announcements and CD. We started calling the office to find out where they were when graduation grew closer and closer. They never answer the phone or return numerous messages left by myself and my daughter. We found out about the order was never processed by the company and now was too late to even get the announcements out in the mail. I have had three previous senior graduates and never had problem 1 before but then learned that this company was recently purchased from the reliable one I have used in the past. I hope this High School(Spring Valley) wises up and starts using someone else. This operation will not be in business long.

Can’t even begin to say how upset I am. I rarely order school photos, but decided to order the photo CD this year to give grandparents photos for the holidays. I ordered at the end of October and they said I would have the CDs in three weeks. Four weeks later I called and they had never processed my order. Oh, they charged my credit card, they just never made my CDs. When I emailed them, they said it would be another four weeks! That means the photos that I had planned to print, frame, and mail around the country for Christmas gifts aren’t going to happen. When I asked if they could rush my order(how hard is it to load an image onto a CD and stick it in the mail) I was told they were busy rushing other orders. Apparently customer service means nothing to them. NEVERAGAIN will I order anything from them.

this place takes photos in nearly every public school in Chico. they have been taking my daughters pictures for 2 years and i have been mostly satisfied. the only reason i give 4 stars instead of five is that their website is a bit hard to navigate. Their color and background choices when including them in a package is a bit confusing. otherwise, the pricing isn’t bad for what you get. i wish there were more than one digital photo of the child to choose from, a preview choice of 2 poses would be better than just one photo and if you don’t like it there is a retake day. overall i have been fairly satisfied with my portraits of my daughter.

This company is not well run! School picture’s taken from a digital image(only one/snap shot) and if they don’t agree to your liking you cannot have them retaken! My son 1st set of pictures taken @ the High School we didn’t «prepay» for them as well as we didn’t like his facial expression. So, we decided to come on retake day & that he would have them redone. The next step: the school called as a reminder(the night before) for the following days retakes and specified that«if for any reason» you were unhappy with the pictures to bring them back(the originals) to have them retaken. That day my son went to have them retaken and they turned him away because he did not fill out and PAY for his pictures. My son text-ed me and told me they refused to retake his picture. So, I called the Life Touch office and the gal was«shocked» that he was turned away, I called the school who in-turn got me in touch with the on-site photographer. This guy went onto to tell me that they would not retake my students picture because he did not prepay! I didn’t pay because I was unhappy and would like to see what the photo looks like prior to paying for them! Printing them(that’s what cost them money) NOT a digital snap shot from a camera that they choose the shot. They refused so many other students that day that wanted to have retakes done. They confused my child with a another students parent who wanted their sons picture retaken so he could change out an earring!!! For whatever reason they claim to NOT retaken them on retake day they need to state that on their paperwork and let the school know the ONLY way they will retake pictures is if you were unable to that very first day OR if you were sick«makeups». Also: to STATE on their form«make sure you prepay in advance» or NO retakes will be done /MONEY must be in hand! . I am really upset as I am stuck with a picture that will go in the yearbook I paid $ 75 for! Even if I were to have gotten another photo done of my student, it was told to me that/it is up to the school to decide which one goes in the year book not me? Other photography companies«out there» should be able to bid next year and moving forward to offer a better clearer understanding of things and a better customer service program. Even let parents come in to take their own pictures. It’s cheaper and cost us NOTHING to take a digital picture, if we are then pleased with it we can print them up for next to nothing too! This companies prices are way to expensive for what they have to offer! They don’t know how to treat their customers and their staff is a mess in not knowing appropriate protocol’s either. What happened to the customer is aways right? You do what you can to please them! Now, I will let everyone know they are terrible and I will NOT purchase one thing from them in the future!
