Christian Life Center is a Foursquare Church located across the street from PV High School. We currently hold one service from 10 – 11:30am on Sunday mornings. Childcare (Called Children’s Discovery Time) is available from babies through 6^th grade for the entire service time.

We believe in Jesus Christ as our Savior, Healer, Baptizer and Soon and Coming King. We value the Word of God, preaching the gospel, making families our priority and always growing in our walk with Jesus.

Pastor Jeff and Charissa Young transitioned into the Senior Pastor role as of May, 2012 and have been loving the time here in Chico with their four young children.

History

Established in 1933.

Life Church will be 82 years old December of 2015!

What that says about the church is that God is not finished with it and still has a vibrant future ahead. From 1981 to 2012 Pastor Fred Wymore led the church and now his daughter and son-​in-​law are leading together.

At this point in their new role at Christian Life Center Jeff and Charissa believe that God is beginning new things, creating new avenues of worship and service to our God as well as connecting those in the church with people outside of it.

Business Owner

Jeff Young grew up in Carson City, NV and joined the US Navy directly out of High School. During his time in the military he met his wife, Charissa and soon they married in 2004. Jeff and Charissa married and moved to Santa Cruz, CA where they attended, worked and lived at their church, The Coastlands. Today, they have four children and are absolutely loving Chico!

Jeff was educated at Life Pacific College in San Dimas, CA and gained a Bachelors Degree in Ministry and Leadership. Soon after he gained his Masters Degree at Azusa Pacific University (APU) in Leadership and Organizational Studies.

Today, Jeff and Charissa have a heart and passion to see Jesus transform each person they have the honor of walking with. Family is a strong value and one that is shown within the church.
