History

Established in 2009.

Aaron J. Stewart was born and raised in Chico, California. He received his higher education from schools located on the East Coast. Upon returning to California, Mr. Stewart began his legal career in Palo Alto, CA, as an associate of Sullivan & Cromwell, LLP, a prestigious Manhattan-​based law firm. Mr. Stewart worked in their London, New York and Palo Alto offices. Acting on a long-​held ambition of owning his own business, Mr. Stewart established the Law Offices of Aaron J. Stewart, in his hometown, Chico, CA, thereby making the most of the example set by his late father, Ronald E. Stewart, when he first created his own law firm.

In addition to his practice, Aaron Stewart is proud of his involvement in the Northern California community. The following are various organizations to which he belongs: Board Member, Gateway Science Museum; Board Member, BayTEC Alliance Board of Directors; Board Member, Board of Mentors, California State University Chico’s Center for Entrepreneurship; Board Member, Chico Economic Planning Corporation; Member, Chico Noon Rotary. Aaron Stewart has also received the following awards and distinctions: Editor, Cornell Law Review; West Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award (awarded to the top four students in first year law school class); CALI Excellence Award for the following courses: Property Law and Insurance Law (awarded to the student with highest grade in the course); Member, The Order of the Coif (an honorary scholastic society that encourages excellence in legal education); 2010 Rising Star of the Year Award, Chico Chamber of Commerce.
