San Jose, CA
Great place to swim in the river on a hot day. Its not to deep or dangerously swift. Young kids with proper swim gear can play in the water safely. Beachy shores so your not sitting in bushes. Plus its the closest place to town to swim.
Oh the biggest plus is… flushing toilets!
