The best food truck in town. I used to live next door to this place and ate here far too much. I practically turned into a burrito. Their shrimp nachos are tasty tasty.

I bought 3 street tacos: asada, carnitas and pastor. Their street tacos came with cheese which I wasn’t expecting. If I had known I would have opted out. I picked up a piece of meat from each one to see which one I like least and most. Carnitas was too shredded and lack crispiness. I wasn’t convinced that I ate pastor. The carnitas was sweeter than the supposed pineapple marinated meat. Asada is just grilled beef so that was straightforward and thank goodness better. Now, that’s sadly telling you how subpar the other 2 tacos were. I’ve had better food and service from other taco trucks around Chico. I can check this one off my list and I know I won’t be coming back.

What is the deal with this truck? The girl working the register seems so uninterested in you or the truck that I don’t know why she bothers going to work. The service has gone downhill. I remember just a couple of years ago there was always people waiting too order and now there is never a wait. Yesterday she screwed up my order and she just wanted to act like it was my fault. Even the girl that gives you your order acts like she could care less. The cook looked pissed and he made it right but the two helper girls are why I won’t go back. And somehow spicy to them means just like the normal stuff. Pretty blah food these days.

Love this place! A Chico favorite for sure! Perfect for a quick lunch! Simple in all the right ways! I always go for the carne asada tacos and am never let down! Id critique the seating but for a taco truck its completely as expected…

The best Mexican food in town! Seriously I’d rather pick up food here than go anywhere else. Especially burritos, they do something magical to the beans and rice. Any meat choice is good, I also tend to get the veggie burritos because the flavor is so good without the meat. Go spicy if you can handle it. Also great with limes and pickled jalapeño, request them when ordering.

This place is awesome the three meat burrito is wonderfully done to satisfy a hungry person. I would recommend it to anyone since there really isn’t a Mexican restaurant in town worth talking about. The nachos are great too. Most hole in the wall places have the best food and even though this is a truck it falls into this category.

So first off, the last time I was here deserves one star. But since I’ve liked their food before, I give them three. The reason is: I ordered shrimp tacos extra spicy. I received the driest and flavorless tacos there EVER! This place used to be the best. Also, I told the lady I wanted two quesadillas, one with chicken, then waited, and waited, then got my order. I checked my order, one quesadilla. So I go back and tell them I ordered two, big confusing conversation ensues, then she says ok we’ll make the other one. I go to the window, and she makes me wait after ever single customer in line ordering. By this time I say screw this and leave. I’m not gonna take another number and wait forever again. My suggestion to the people that work there and read this is: Check the orders and make sure they are correct, and if you make a mistake, don’t make the customer pay for it. Rush that order and get them satisfied.

I typically avoid taco trucks, however Chico is seriously lacking in good Mexican food. This truck is amazing and the only one I will eat at. The chicken nachos, quesadilla and tacos are great. There are times I would order a bunch of food here and take it home and put it on a bunch of plates for family and friends because it’s the only decent Mexican food. They also accept debit cards which is a plus. The bad– doesn’t have good chips and salsa.

The best taco truck in Chico! It’s authentic, delicious, filling and a reasonable wait.

4 Stars only because of cleanliness around the Truck. It has the mexican food out of any of the Taco trucks in Chico and they have the best service. It is fun and is open great hours. If you have never tried a taco truck, you are missing out. I love the Nachos, but you can’t go wrong with a Taco or Burrito from this place. Excellent service.

What looks like just another taco truck, turns out to be quite a treat. The food here is all well done, well priced, and well executed. Any good mexican food starts with the meat, the asada which was extremely flavorful. Tacos offer a good assortment of meats, but I wish I had gotten one of their signaturely huge burritos which more than anything, look like a big baby. The owner seems like a real personable and upright guy knowing many of his guests by name. This is one truck to bring back around.

I started hitting this up once a week to me it’s that good. 3 chicken tacos and rice and beans plate. Also a beef burrito no lettuce for the reheat later. The food is consistently yum hence the once a week. It’s a lunch truck so tables with a nice mix of friendly people. suggestions: order — grab ticket — then go in mini market for a drink while order is prepped.

Over the summer I had some family visiting from out of state and they were desperate to try a taco truck. After asking my FB friends for the best taco truck in town, I ended up here. My family was super impressed. For the rest of the trip they kept asking for«some of those delicious tiny tacos». The food was yummy and cheap. I don’t really eat at these kinds of places, but it is such a Californian novelty that we had to check it out. I recommend this truck to people from out of town frequently.

I will NOT be returning. First of all what true Latino serves food on a cold tortilla? The pork not exciting, «med» hotness? I’ve had black pepper that was spicier and last but not least, Carlos is RUDE! If I approach you politely to inform you that you neglected to put sour cream on my taco don’t argue with me about it and then proceed to tell me it cost extra when the sign clearly states it comes on the taco! Furthermore don’t curse at the customers. If you have problems hearing people ask them to speak up! If you don’t understand English then learn it or I would have been happy to order in Spanish! If you want excellent food Chicoans and visitors go to the Valero station up the street! Ps it got one star because I have to make a selection in order to post otherwise it would be ZERO stars!

i generally like taco trucks and this one is no exception. I have had their chicken, chorizo, alpastor, carnitas, and asada and all were at least good. The best part about this truck, IMHO, is the value and ordering, stiitng and eating outside in Chico on a warm summer day. I believe it is Tuesday when they have 5 tacos for 5 bucks, an unbeatable deal. If you live in Chico this truck should be at least a weekly stop if not lunch everyday!

One of the best taco trucks I have ever been to! Food: Tasty, big and fresh. They have refried, pinto and black beans. Price: Extremely cheap. Burrito Supreme(huge) with everything including fresh avocado and sour cream is only $ 5. Service: Carlos is usually there to take your order. They will give you condiments ONLY if you ASK specifically for what you want. Don’t expect salsa or lime in the bag unless you ask. If you ask for extra salsa, don’t expect 2 servings for 2 burritos unless you ask for that. Are you getting the idea here? LOL Ambiance: Outdoor picnic tables and you have to go into the adjacent liquor store to buy a drink. Even so, not a bad place to casually sit and eat a burrito… I have tried the Al Pastor(pork), Shrimp and Chicken. Al Pastor was very greasy and I don’t recommend it. Chicken and Shrimp are both VERYGOOD. They have another truck at 20th and Park and a little indoor place at the Valero gas station on 8th near 99. They all serve the same food.

This taco truck is amazing! I don’t even like shrimp and I can’t get enough of their shrimp tacos. Anything there with the shrimp is fantastic but the nachos are a must try as well. The only downfall is the hours change depending on season and the line can be long at times but totally worth the wait!

Hands down the best taco truck in Chico. Cheap and delicious. Check out the 2 for $ 5 simple burritos and the veggie burrito. Ask for your burrito/taco to be spicy, and ask for limes when you pick-up your order. The combo of their homemade salsa and fresh lime juice is unbeatable.
