Ej’s Dogs & Subs

Service was not perky but it’s an old gentleman who was polite. I ordered the kraut dog and the super dog. Both were excellent. I would recommend this place to everyone. Chapter than your other fast food restaurants.

I walked in and wasn’t greeted. Not even a smile or glance. Everything looked really plain and bland. Ordered a chili dog after I saw a great review on Unilocal.It was rough. Not worth the money. Here’s some great advise, go to winco, buy some hotdogs and buns. You’re not missing much if you do.

Very nice old guy served me right to my table, great hot dog, wasn’t too small. If I want a hot dog I’ll definitely come here again :)

Good business area. I like their hotdogs, but dislike their sandwhiches. we go in for their chili dogs many times. i would recommend them.

Stopped in for a quick bite after going to the post office. I told the owner that I’d never been there before and asked what is their specialty. He was no help at all. I saw a sign that said homemade chili, so I ordered a chili cheese dog — one of my favorites. What I got was a squishy bun, what looked and tasted like canned chili, some diced white onion and wait for it… Nacho cheese sauce! Yuck! Who puts nacho cheese sauce on a chili dog?! Apparently EJs. It wasn’t horrible overall — just nothing special. Don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon.

I LOVE the chili cheese dog. So good. All their subs are great as well. All staff is friendly and the owner is a cool guy. I love how they steam the bread and buns

Good, inexpensive lunch food. I’ve eaten there several times over the last few months and its definitely a better deal than the Safeway or Subway sandwiches you can get in the same plaza.
The place is small and minimally decorated but the cooking and eating area was clean every time I’ve visited. The bathroom could use some work but its not disgusting or anything. Every person behind the counter (mostly young women) has always been very nice and did a good job making the sandwiches. Lunch hour can be pretty busy but if you show up in a off-​peak time the sandwich always comes out fast.
The food is very good for the price and theres a pretty broad selection of items. I wont lie, I have gotten some duds every now and then, but not anymore often then I have at Safeway (which is where I ate before I gave this place a try) or Subway (who’s sandwiches always seem lackluster). On a few occasions the bread has been hard or a bit stale but the sandwiches have never failed to taste good. They are packed with the good stuff and always taste great. I recommend the Italian Sandwich with a side of chili. It tastes great and fills you right up.

Good basic hot dog. none of that fake chewy meat shenanigans, simple good food for a reasonable price.

Great sandwiches! I recommend the pastrami, it’s delicious. Walking into this deli is like stepping back in time thirty years. I think thats when the fake wood was installed and the place was painted. It is a refreshing change from the corporate sandwich shops though.

Good for a quick hotdog or basic sandwhich. The decour leaves something to be desired.
