We are a full service salon that specializes in hair color, foils and multidimensional color techniques such as ombré. We are a Redken Broadway Salon with a Certified Colorist on staff. We are Redken trained in hair design and use advanced hair cutting techniques from the Redken New York Exchange. We also use only Redken Color including Shades EQ gloss, Shades EQ Cream, Color Fusion, Color Gels and Chromatics. We also have a Certified Pureologist (Advanced training in Pureology) on staff. We pride ourselves in obtaining the best training and education in the salon industry.

We have a huge selection of hair products including Redken, Pureology, Nioxin, Matrix Biolage & Total Results, ColorProof, Crew, Biosilk, Sebastion, Serie Expert, Kenra, Sexy Hair Concepts, Aquage, Surface, Paul Mitchell, Joico, Tigi and Enjoy.

We carry salon & spa quality bath, body and candles. We have Hempz, Archipelago & Thymes. We also carry Tigi Cosmetics, OPI, Morgan Taylor and nail & body products.

History

Established in 1996.

Cleo’s opened in the Chico Mall in 1996. In beauty school, Sherri (owner) learned that many hair and body products and services were first performed in Egyptian times. Cleopatra was known to travel with her herd of goats to take her baths in their milk (lactic acid is very beneficial to your skin and are in many modern skin care lines). She also colored her hair with henna. The would wrap their hair in cylinders, coat with Nile mud and bake in the sun to create waves in their hair.

Sherri daydreamed about the modern day Cleopatra and that her name would be Cleo for short. She is amazed at the technology we have in the salon industry from hair color to the formulation of hair products and skin care. She loves the idea of natural beauty and romance marrying technology and education to produce the best results for our clients. Cleo’s emphasizes the importance of education of their staff in the latest hair fashion trends of hair color and hair products to produce the latest looks.
