Welcome to Chico Paws and Claws, again my name is Gary Swietanski. I’m a California native whom moved from Truckee to Chico seven years ago. I’ve always been a magnet for animals. Over the years I’ve had cats and dogs and even cared for horses while attending high school. Now as a husband and father it is exciting to share this passion for animals with my family. Over the years I’ve found myself in the position to take care of family and friends animals while they were on vacation or out of town so the decision to start this business was easy. In addition to volunteering for the Butte Humane Society, I also enjoy hiking, skiing, bike riding, golf and boating with my family.
