I play women’s and co-​ed softball, and volleyball, on CARD teams. They do a great job coordinating the schedules, maintaining the fields, organizing the playoff system, etc.
I have heard complaints over the years about last minute schedule changes, but I know from experience that there are some very flaky team managers & that CARD does the best they can in dealing with trying to make everyone happy while still stay financially solvent!!! (they are non-​profit & I believe they are partially funded by the city of Chico). I have never taken any of their classes, but I give CARD the highest rating for their athletics program. They do a great job.
