History

Established in 2006.

Well I recently Purchased Checkers Taxi from the man who started, owned and operated Checkers from back in 2006 here in Chico Ca, the previous owner had much experience before Checkers, and so did I, and Now that i have it, I plan to add anything that the previous owner may have overlooked. though I have a great starting ground with this company, as it is solid, and well known, and best of all well liked, great bunch of drivers, even some from the very beginning of this Checkers Taxi co here Chico. Seems as though most of the Drivers here have been some of the towns longest driving cabbies, so they definately know there way around a cab!

The Owner, has worked hard in some sort of customer service industry for over 25 years, and second jobs firfighting, truck driving, concrete and heavy equiptment operator, obtained business management with highest honors degree, paralegal, wastewater treatment plant op 2, class A with all endorsemnts, concrete, asphalt, dirt dump, waited on tables, finished concrete, lifeguard, firefighter, bartender, steel hauler, so you name it, this person has tried it, and started working with cabs approximately 3 or 4 years ago and took to it like a duck to water, from day one «feet hit the floor running» definately a fine match, so i assure you they will make a fine contribution to this already well established company «checkers taxi» chico
