Eric B.

Business Owner

Eric Alan Berg was born in Indiana, PA, in 1960 and attended schools in Pennsylvania and Florida before graduating from New College of the University of South Florida in 1982 with a B.A. in humanities. He obtained his J.D. in law from University of Santa Clara in 1985.

In 1990, he returned to Northern California and founded the private law firm now known as Berg & Associates, with offices in Redding and Chico. During the ensuing years, he has diligently and aggressively represented defendants.

Berg is a member of both the State Bar of California and the American Bar Association. In addition, he has met the exacting standards of the State Bar of California Board of Legal Specialization to be named a Certified Criminal Law Specialist. His law firm, Berg & Associates, has been a leader in medical marijuana patients’ rights and has been involved in land-​breaking cases related to the use of this medicine.
