At Home Computer began in Redding, CA in 1995 by Josh Carlson. The business moved to Chico, CA in 2004. It was and still is a house call computer repair and tutoring service.

That’s why At Home Computer has become so successful. Because the more people like you that I help, the more this business becomes something worth doing. And in a world where quality service at a fair price is hard to find, I get the rare privilege of offering both.

There is no other place to help you with your computer repair. First of all, Josh knows his stuff better than anyone I’ve known. Usually by a rambling, non specific ailment by me, he can diagnose the problem on the phone most of the times. He’s a family man and is a very trustworthy. His prices are reasonable, upfront, and well explained. His advice and recommendations are spot on. His knowledge is beyond impressive. And he backs up his work 100%. Beyond 100%. I had an infection with my browser that he fixed for free over 2 weeks after my repair. And on the same day I called! In conclusion, I can honestly say that there is no reason to take your computer problems anywhere else. Josh is the man!

Just love At Home Computer! Josh is amazing he always responds very fast when I have a computer problem. He is the guy to go to if you have a PC or Mac problem. I’v had several hard drives crash over the years and he quickly helped me recover all of my data and got me back on line quickly.
He recommend this year that I get a solid state hard drive and I did – awesome and super fast. He is a real good listener and I love the fact that we can work on solving the problem together. He is very passionate about what he does! Thanks Josh!

He is definitely the person I would recommend if you are having computer problems. He knows what he’s doing, and he has a tenacious attitude. When he starts a project he likes to see that it’s finished, and finished right. Great attitude, great communicator, and easy to communicate to.
