This was my first Bespoke suit as well as my first suit not bought (OTR). I will never buy OTR again. I received so many compliments on my suit for the event I was at. Between John and Richard they make sure to cover every detail in the process and were very helpful the entire time. You can easily spend $ 700-​$ 1000 for a OTR suit that does not fit the exact measurements of your body, leaving you looking like your wearing drapes. I purchased my suit for under $ 700 and it fits perfectly. I could go on and on about the attention to detail and amazing customer service but it’s best to go check it out yourself. Zeglio will continue to be my go to clothier anytime I need to impress and look great! Thanks again for everything!

I had a great experience at Zeglio over the past couple months. Richard Dayhoff spent a lot of time helping me pick out every detail of a nice grey 3 piece suit for me to have on-​hand for my wardrobe. It was easy to stay within my budget with all the different fabric choices Zeglio has to offer. John was extremely helpful with the fitting of my suit and was quick to make any adjustments as needed. I was so pleased with my first experience that I decided to have them make my suit for my wedding! Again, Richard was extremely helpful with choosing the fabric, lining, finishing details, etc. I received numerous compliments on the suits with each wear. I highly recommend anyone looking for a perfectly tailored suit to try Zeglio rather than spending $$$ on a designer suit that would likely need to be altered in order to fit correctly. By selecting a 3 piece suit each time, it is very easy to dress down/​up different outfits by only wearing the vest, or only the jacket with a jeans and a dress shirt. I’ll be going back for any future suiting needs! They also carry a wide selection of ties and fabric for custom dress shirts.

When you start getting into nice fabrics and custom made clothes Zeglio offers a very enticing value proposition. When you walk into Zeglio you really get the one-​on-​one attention you expect. It is really refreshing and Richard in particular is very helpful and a great guy. I bought my wedding tux here and am getting a couple more suits and shirts because I had such a great experience.

I have three suits from John and I could not be happier. If you’re looking for a suit, this is the place to go.

TL;DR – I spent just as much on a bespoke (that is, completely custom) suit at Zeglio as I would on a «decent,» much worse-​fitting suit off the rack. My Zeglio suit is made of quality material I hand selected, fits me like a glove, and has subtle and tasteful indications that it was made custom for me. Zeglio’s service was impeccable, from material selection and measurement on through the final fitting. My outlook on men’s formalwear is profoundly and irreversibly changed.
I am a professional student and needed to buy a suit for job interviews after a summer internship. I planned to spend a bit more than I usually would ($ 600-​$ 700) for a name brand off-​the-​rack suit. I had had luck buying suits on sale at Saks and Nordstrom, but liked the look of the J. Crew Ludlow line. I bought one, to the tune of some $ 600 (after pant alterations), and stumbled into Zeglio (the Broadway location) looking to have the jacket altered to fit the way it would in the ad.
There I met Richard Dayhoff (
) who explained to me why the jacket would never fit the way I would want it to: the front darts in men’s jackets are immovable, due to the placement of the front pockets. Instead of baldly trying to upsell me on the suits Zeglio makes, Richard spent 30 minutes giving me a primer on the finer points of men’s suit fashion – from fabric selection, to the number and locations of measurements needed, to the appropriate lapel-​tie-​shoulderwidth proportions. When he told me that I could afford a bespoke suit that would exhibit all these qualities for thesame price I planned to spend off the rack, I was floored. I immediately arranged to come back to select materials for a bespoke suit.
During our next meeting, Richard again gave indispensable advice about matching liners to fabric, and fabric to complexion and hair color. I went with a sharp navy blue suit (a little pop, but not too much) with a baby blue liner. It has all the features of evening wear, but works just as well as a day-​to-​day work suit with a brown belt.
I met the next day with John Park, Zeglio’s CEO, at the location in the loop. There, John and his assistant walked me through one of the classiest experiences of my life, taking some forty measures on me for the suit and a custom shirt, not once but twice, with Vivaldi playing in the background (some real Scarface stuff).
Two weeks later, the suit was ready for me to try on, and it exceeded every one of my expectations. It fits perfectly, and has subtle and tasteful indications that it was made custom for me (like a ticket pocket, functional sleeve buttons, and buttonhole stitching that matches the liner.
I cannot recommend this place enough. I only caution that, once you buy a Zeglio suit, you won’t want to wear anything else in your wardrobe.

I’ve been going to Zeglio (John) for over 5 years now. During that time I’ve purchased 8 suits, 2 sportcoats, tux for my wedding, ties, pants, and over 100 shirts. And, I’ve had John attend and fit guests of mine at a couple networking events I’ve hosted and everyone has been extremely happy. Let me tell you, it doesn’t get better than this so look no further than Zeglio!
John is very interested in what you’re looking for, your price point, the occasion and then trying to make sure you get the best of the best.
Before and after purchasing my first suit in the beginning, I had been to other custom fitters and shortly after «blending» a couple others into the rotation for the first year I have to say hands down John was the best. You can go to many other custom clothing stores in Chicago and elsewhere, but the quality for the price point doesn’t get any better with Zeglio.
It’s important to note that John owns his own manufacturer overseas which helps him remain most competitive while also not compromising quality.
Allow 2 – 3 weeks for your suit, shirts and anything he makes for you to arrive, and be sure you plan on having to get some minor tweaks when the clothes arrive, especially if it’s your first time.

Recieved my suit that I ordered for my wedding. I’m as happy with it as I’ve been with any significant purchase I’ve made. I was inspired by an article listing buying a custom tailored suit being an experience every man should have, and a depressing visit to a mall retailer my fiancée liked that stocked only up to 42 chest. I’m a large guy and have and have always ended up with suits and shirts that just don’t fit quite right. I bought a suit and shirt for our wedding and to keep for special occasions. It is the type of fit that makes you walker taller and feel better. The process was very easy and interesting. A bit more expensive than off the rack, and no buy one get ones here folks. But what you get is your suit, your material, your style, your fit, it’ll even have your name on it if you want. I do agree it is an experience worth having and a suit worth keeping!

I started using Zeglio in 2010, when a friend had his groomsmen wear suits from John for his wedding. At the time, I ordered the wedding suit plus one more. They say that once you go custom for suits, you won’t go back. This is absolutely true. John’s suits fit perfectly, and he has a huge range of fabrics and prices, so he has something for many income levels.
A couple years later, I used John for my own wedding, and everyone looked great! And, I’ve now seen almost 20 people in suits from Zeglio, so I can confidently say that they fit all body types perfectly. John knows how to make people look good.
I’ve had a few suits and shirts made from another tailor since, and they weren’t as good. John takes almost twice as many measurements, and is very flexible with options and customizations. He’s very up to speed on all the latest fashion trends, but knows the right questions to ask to make sure you’re not too far out of your comfort zone.
I don’t live in Chicago anymore, but still use John regardless. He has my measurements and is more than willing to mail me fabric samples or work via email and phone when I need him to.
I love my suits from Zeglio. Highly recommended for a special occassion or regular /​professional use.

Wonderful experience and suit.
I’m a shorter stature guy so find it difficult to buy off the rack as even 36s is even too big for me still. Richard is very patient and answered all my questions about all suit matters as I knew nothing about lapels, vents, and all the other stuff and he really took his time to educate me, and that helped me make all the best decisions for my custom suit. He even found the perfect black wool fabric with a light pattern that I was looking for. He really knew his stuff.
Also the owner John took all my measurements and the suit arrived 3 weeks later. I came in and everything fit perfectly and I walked out without any alterations. He even met all my requirements to have a more fitted look to the suit as I wear clothes quite fitted.

Great custom menswear with near unlimited choices of fabrics and patterns. Used to buy off the rack suits and shirts at Nordstroms, but the fit of custom clothing beats anything you get off the rack. John is very professional and great at providing style recommendations and clothes are very well made. Zeglio has become my go to menswear store.

My suit is absolutely fantastic. I never want to buy off the rack again. Sure it’s expensive, but the final product is absolutely worth it. Jon and his staff are top notch. I absolutely recommend Zeglio.

I never bought a suit before entering Zeglio and the owner, John Park, helped me immensely with choosing the right fabric and style.
The total process took roughly 30 minutes (including measurements) and I came back in 2 weeks to receive the finished suit for a final fit. To my pleasant surprise, everything fit perfectly and I did not need to make further adjustments.

I just got my suit and it was perfect! My tailor’s name was John and he was a perfectionist. He knew the current styles and provided me with the best materials. Every part of the suit was so detailed and sharp. My wife saw it today and said it was the most stylish suit I ever owned and to throw away my other suits.
I highly recommend buying a suit here rather than Men’s Wearhouse/​Macys because the suit will be fit to your exact dimensions. You have to check this place out!

As much as I enjoy puns, I was tired of renting crap from Men’s Wearhouse for weddings and decided I should invest in my own for an upcoming wedding. Went to a couple of places and was really impressed by this place. I cannot comment on the relative quality of products as I did not end up ordering anything from anywhere else but as a novice suit buyer the service here really set it apart.
Richard Dayhoff was able to provide guidance on fabric, cut and style and present the information and choices in a way that was very clear to people going through the process for the first time. Helped us understand the options and choose the ideal tux for each person. Really cannot say enough about how positive this experience was.

Zeglio is absolutely fantastic!
I first heard of Zeglio (then called Andrea Vangna) from a work colleague who was always well-​dressed. I am slight of build, so regular off-​the-​rack clothes fit me horribly — the shirts billow out the sides, and I float in the pants.
With Zeglio’s custom clothes, everything fits to a tee, and I now look much more proportioned and athletic. It is an incredible difference, and I should warn you that once you go custom, it’s almost impossible to go back to the rack!
In the last couple of years, I’ve bought a dozen shirts, three pairs of pants, two suits, an overcoat and a pea coat from Zeglio, and I’m very happy with all of the items. The owner, John Park is courteous, patient and helpful — a very nice man.
One last item — the prices are quite reasonable; you won’t find less expensive custom clothes anywhere, and you’ll only pay 20%-30% more than at the department store, but the difference is definitely worth it!

Zeglio is a wonderful experience from start to finish — and the end product is absolutely fabulous! The materials are top notch, the fitting was top notch, customer service, atmosphere, knowledge, all top notch!
I can never go back to department store suits, never.

My partner and I have purchased several suits and many custom shirts from Zeglio/​Andrea Vangna over the last 2 years and wouldn’t think of purchasing a suit «off the rack» again. The experience is amazingly non-​pretentious and the fabric quality, design and construction are absolutely first rate. John Park, the owner, is extremely attentive and professional and keeps his promises. You’ll have your custom suit/​shirts in a timely fashion as promised and once you slip the first one on you’ll be hooked for life. There is nothing like the fit and feel of a suit that was made just for you. Overall an amazing experience at a fair price.

Finally… First to Review… I can now check that off my bucket list.
I went to get a suit for my wedding from Zeglio on the recommendation of a friend who purchased a custom suit from the store when it was called Andrea Venga (sp?). His suit was super sharp, and I liked the idea of picking your fabric, style, details, bells and whistles etc.
The store is very nice, and even though there isn’t a ton of inventory to look at, I still had a very good understanding of what I was buying, thanks to the fabric swatches, examples, and explanations of the owner, John. I found John to be very helpful, he clearly knows how a suit is supposed to fit. My only complaint about the fitting experience would be the amount of direction I got from John. I haven’t ever had a suit that fit me correctly, so I don’t know how it should fit, what the current styles are, and so on, and I felt that John was more inclined to ask how I wanted it to fit and what style I wanted… my answer was always «how should it fit? that’s how I want it», and «what’s in style? that’s how I want it». With that said, he happily provided his recommendation, and I think it turned out well. I imagine he defers to the customer so as to appease the finicky customers who actually have preferences on how their suit should fit.
Now onto the suit itself. Damn. That’s all I have to say. It’s very strange to put on clothing that was made for your exact measurements, and its equally surprising to see how much better said clothing looks when you wear it. I went with a slate gray, with blue lining, and baby blue buttonhole stitching on the sleeve. The fabric is excellent quality (cashmere, wool blend), the construction is solid and will make you cringe if you ever try on a department store suit again (even ones that are in the $ 500 – 700 range).
The price is in line for the quality of the product. Turnaround time was exactly as quoted (3 weeks). I thought the experience of getting measured was worth at least $ 100, John took his time to understand what I wanted, and made sure the measurements fit the style and my body.
All in all, I feel pretty cool when I put on that suit.
