This is my favorite Chinese place outside of Chinatown(s). Be sure to get the egg rolls.

This is the first Chinese restaurant that I found in Chicago that I actually like! We ordered a ton of food so I will go in order. The chicken fried rice was really good and comes with a lot of veggies in it so it feel fresh actually. The sesame chicken was decent, my only complaint being that the chicken pieces were a little soggy and not so crispy. I really enjoyed both the Mongolian beef and chicken lo mein. They had a ton of meat and also a ton of veggies which I love. Also, I ordered their wonton soup which was great. Overall, the portions were large and the food wasn’t greasy like a lot of Chinese places. In addition, they delivers really quickly.

Ordered from Young’s on Christmas after a snafu with Orange Garden(see their page for my review). Delivered relatively quickly considering how busy the night was, and the food was really good. Will definitely order from here again.

Very good food, friendly, quick, clean, and quiet. Very good potstickers and dumplings!

Stopped in here for the first time last summer. I’ve been back a handful of times. So far, it’s pretty good and the kitchen has been kind in making the food to my requests. The main being, spicy! I haven’t yet had the occasion to try take-out strictly. But for the spend when dining with a group, I think the cost /value is pretty on the spot. I hope the goodness continues to last.

My search for good general tso(governor’s chicken) is over! Large chicken chunks, tender but not over-tenderized, good meat-to-breading ratio. Sauce is more savory than sweet, and has a little bit of heat. good portion size too.

This is the best Chinese delivery in Chicago. Everyone once in a while I think I’ll try something else and new and always regret it.

Not good. Kind of gross. Food was delivered fast and hot, I just wish it had tasted better! Beef lo mein was greasy without much flavor and the beef was extremely suspect. The cashew chicken came piled high with… peanuts. Not a cashew to be found, I’m guessing since peanuts are cheaper or maybe just a gross mistake on their end. Soups were big portions, but so greasy with random vegetables thrown in(corn in egg drop soup?). I won’t order from here again.

beef and peapods was ok, I would order again. Moo shoo was way too salty and egg rolls were just not good. The staff was super friendly so I would go back, I just wouldn’t order the two items I mentioned I didn’t like

I order delivery here all the time. I haven’t found another Chinese spot that I like better. Young’s is pretty consistent.

This place is solid, and good for delivery(the food’s always hot). I definitely wouldn’t call it authentic cuisine, but if you’re looking for good typical American Chinese food, it delivers. The Ma Po Tofu is different and good, and it’s a solid option. It’s nothing exceptional or particularly authentic, but that doesn’t mean the food isn’t good.

Youngs is the one of the best Chinese food I’ve had in Chicago. The ingredients are always fresh. Ive ordered it for guest when they come by and they now always request when in the neighborhood. The staff is also very friendly. I’m so happy I found this gem!

This one of freshest Chinese restaurants in Chicago. They don’t use MSG so you don’t feel bloated and sick after eating

I love ordering delivery from Young’s. They are great at special requests. The service is great and the delivery is always swift. The orange chicken is great, but it is actually spicy(but not overly). The prices are reasonable and the portions are large enough for leftover. What a deal!

I ordered delivery while babysitting my nephews nearby. I ordered a sesame chicken, chicken fried rice, and potstickers. The delivery arrived quickly. I had intended to pay cash, but the delivery man didn’t have change. I provided credit card information in order to pay for the food. He came back later with a receipt. The sesame chicken was excellent with a lot of sauce. I would have liked more broccoli, but the flavor was good and the chicken seemed to be good quality pieces. The chicken fried rice was light on the oil which made it better IMO. There were plenty of vegetables, chicken and egg in the rice and the serving was enough for 3 or 4 people. The potstickers were good, but the dough was thicker than what I prefer. Overall, I enjoyed the food and would definitely recommend their delivery.

I’d say this is the best Chinese delivery place I’ve had in Chicago. I’ve never eaten in but the food I’ve had delivered always comes quickly and is hot. My favorite dish is the Lo Mein. It’s served Shanghai style, so they use a wide flat noodle with flavorful ingredients. I cannot find any other place that does it this way! The Vegetable Egg Roll is also pretty great. I’d recommend trying it!

I came here for Christmas since it was the only place near me that was open. First and last time. I got orange chicken and Hueng chicken to try. I found a hair in my Hueng chicken and both were SO soggy. I was so excited for that one time a year I go for fried, crispy Chinese food. So disappointed with their food. Especially since their menus description of the food is fried and crispy. How hard is it fry something? It’s not like they were busy lol the place was empty. it’s also ridiculously over priced. Don’t waste your time or money.

This has become my go-to Chinese restaurant in Chicago. After experimenting with a variety of sub-par orders and disinteresting food I was so happy to finally find Young’s. Governor’s Chicken is pretty much the greatest thing ever. I could eat that for days…

BEST! Since being a pescatarian I usually have the choice of fish, veggies, or tofu. I haven’t been a fan of tofu at all since my converting from meat to the pescatarian lifestyle but something was in the air that night and I felt like being a spontaneous tofu badass. Sa la vie! I had the governor tofu that also came with an assortment of vegetables in a spicy sauce. One of the most DELICIOUS tofu dishes I have had! Perfectly crispy on the outside for a ‘meat’ like texture and the spicy sauce was on point. Not too hot I couldn’t handle but not too mild either that I was throwing hot sauce on it. I also got the vegetarian egg rolls and they too were deliciously flavorful and crispy! My sister got the Mu Shu Beef with pancakes. Their pancakes remind me a lot of a tortilla. She liked hers but did end up trying and enjoying mine better which really surprised us both. I would go back here in a minute !

It is an incredibly big pet peeve of mine when restaurants don’t clue you in on ingredients in dishes. I feel like every Chinese place in chicago never gives you descriptions to let you know what you’re ordering. This came to bite me on the ass tonight when I ordered the broccoli with garlic sauce and was delivered a dish that was much too spicy for my liking. Would it kill a place to let you know it’s hot before you order? All the other food we got was tasty and delivery came in a timely manner. I would probably give this place a second chance, but definitely need to find something other then my usual!
