I am SO happy I found this agency. I had been firing off my resume into the black hole of the Internet for months before I came across WunderLand. They told me they would look out for jobs that fit my criteria, and within days I had an interview lined up with a company that was a great fit for me. I ended up having two wonderful employment experiences that came directly from Wunderland. The second job turned into a full time position at a company that I LOVE.
I am so thankful for my experience with WunderLand. It’s so hard getting a foot in the door at a company where you have no ties, but WunderLand makes it possible. Thank you!

I’ve been working with Wunderland for about two months now and have no complaints so far. They found me a job within 2 weeks of first sending in my resume and have been very prompt and kind in responding to my emails. They also throw awesome parties with an open bar a few times a year!

They do (really well I might add) what talent and staffing agencies should do: successfully connect clients and candidates so that mutually beneficial engagements are the outcome.

Not sure what all the 5 stars are about – I guess they come from the privileged few lucky enough to get in contact with this place.
The first time I called WunderLand Group Chicago I got no answer. The next day I called again and someone definitely picked up, but I heard a click and was disconnected. I immediately called again, thinking someone may have accidentally hung up the phone. This time, however, I realized they were just screening the call, sloppily I might add, as I could hear the office sounds in the background WHILE the voice mail message started to play – Weird.
I decided not to leave a message, but to fill out an online application and apply for a job listed. I also sent an email to their «Contact Us» form explaining who I was and requesting more info.
That was 2 months ago and I’ve never received so much as an automated «Thank You, we’ve received your inquiry and will get back to you»
I called another Chicago temp company the week after I tried WunderLand. They responded immediately.
WunderLand was essentially a waste of time and quite unprofessional. I guess I could have left a voice mail with them, but after having been hung up on twice and having my application and email ignored, but receiving a hasty response from a local competitor, I decided I didn’t want to bother with this place – they clearly didn’t want to be bothered with me.

Other creative recruiting companies have left a bad taste in my mouth, especially the big machines that churn spam email out. You know the place. It’s… circular.
Wunderland has changed the game and my perspective. They’re extremely thorough from start to finish with every opportunity. They constantly check up on me and every person that I talk to genuinely cares. When I went to the office, everyone introduced themselves to me, shook my hand and expressed their excitement to work with me. It’s definitely something you don’t experience anywhere else.
They really do work hard for you and make sure you’re happy. I landed a gig a mere week after our initial meeting. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a new position.

I cannot say enough great t hings about Wunderland Group! I have had only positive experiences with the team here — from explaing a potential project and assignment to helping to navigate and get started on the systems as a contract employee. They are exceptionally responsive and I highly recommend Wunderland to anyone seeking to fill a position on their team as well as anyone seeking for an employment opportunity. I have worked with Wunderland in the past and they have been very helpful and fun to work with. I have used them to fill openings as well as placement for myself and they haven’t disappointed me yet. The entire team is easy to talk to, fun, and very resourceful. I will definitely use them again whether it is filling the need for a developer or looking for a new opportunity.

The Wunderland Group is a younger agency, and there are better ones out there. I thought that being a newer, smaller firm, that maybe the relationship between the artist and the recruiter would be a stronger bond, but its actually been the opposite.
I believe recruiters should treat their talent better than they treat their clients. And in this case, Wunderland does not own up to this. I’ve worked with several other agencies and am currently stuck in a position Wunderland led me to believe was something completely different than what the position actually was. I’ve been stuck, and all forms of communication with the agency has been sub-​par.
The staff is nice, but when it comes down to it, they are there for the money, they don’t care about you as an individual, they will never call and check up on you, take you out to lunch, discuss future arrangements. One you are placed, you are forgotten about.
Very disappointing.

I’ve worked with several other creative staffing agencies in Chicago and I have definitely had the best experience with WunderLand. Every interaction I have with them is a pleasure.
They are quick to respond to emails and phone calls, and have advocated for me with my current employer in sticky situations. I have the utmost confidence in my contacts there, and they’re so skillful that wish I could have them handle the rest of life’s craziness. I’d highly recommend working with them.

I have worked with several staffing agencies over the years, but Wunderland is by far the best. They are truly an advocate for their clients, from intake to placement and beyond it was a pleasure working with them. They offer benefits that are rare for a staffing agency, and are always willing to help you out on personal or professional isses. Great company!

I REALLY enjoy working with the people at WunderLand Group. Since my first project with the agency back in April, all my experiences have been extremely positive. They seem to genuinely care about my career growth and presenting me opportunities that best match my interests and experience.
This is what impressed me the most. On a few occasions, I didn’t get the project I wanted due to lack of experience or skills in certain areas. The recruiting directors I worked with actually took the time to look at my resume and goals and then provide constructive feedback on how to maximize my marketability for those particular positions. This way, I’d be more prepared for similar opportunities in the future.
Needless to say I’ve been extremely impressed and I highly recommend WunderLand to anyone who’s looking for contract work.
