Wrigleyville Rooftops

Fantastic experience. No obstructions by the new video board in right field. Very friendly and kind staff. Food selection is great. Seats are awesome. you can see everything except right field fly outs. I really enjoyed the experience and would totally recommend to anyone. I decided to do this as it was going to be my only way to watch a playoff game this year and not have to deal with stub hub. The cost of the rooftop ticket was less than what stub hub ticket sales were going for and then you get all you can eat and drink so it’s really a great idea to do a rooftop if you’re wanting to make it to a game.

We got married at 3643 this past September. I could not have asked for a better venue. I believe we were their first wedding and they did an AMAZING job.
My husband and I worked with Tim. He was great — attentive, informative, flexible — you name it. Tim met with us on several occasions to see the rooftop in order to have our planning perfect. He was even willing to meet us on the weekends when the rooftop was closed. The day before our wedding Tim let us drop off many decorations and introduced us to the manager that would be in charge the day of our wedding. Tim provided the name of a sound guy for speakers as we were getting married on the rooftop before the Cubs game and I still wanted some traditional wedding things inside like father/​daughter dance, first dance, etc. Tim also worked with our florist and cake people to schedule delivery the day of the wedding. I even gave Tim a last minute job of MCing the dances and introductions — he did awesome!
The day of the wedding was great. All the staff was wonderful; grateful even. The chef even thanked us for letting him cook for a wedding! The food was amazing by the way. All our guests told us how much they loved the food and how they went up to get more food 4 – 5 times! When my husband and I finally got around to eating, the chef offered to grill my husband a fresh steak any way he liked. If I remember correctly he ate it all. The beer selection was also very good — no complaints there!
My mom and I still say to this day how wonderful and kind everyone was. She was surprised the staff knew who she was as many staffers would come up to myself, my husband, and our parents to make sure everything was okay and asked if we needed anything. The staff even wore all black instead of their usual attire. I even heard a story how one guy forgot they had a wedding and had to run home to change. I don’t know if that’s true, but if it is it just goes to show how wonderful they all were.
At the end of the day the staff offered to pack up all of our decorations (flowers, vases, centerpieces, etc) since we were going out to the bars. They dropped it off at the bar at the corner and let us pick it up the following day. They would have kept it in the office, but the office was closed on Labor Day (the day after the wedding)
Wrigleyville Rooftops is the best venue a bride could ask for! The view was perfect. The staff was so so so kind. I could not have asked for a better day. My husband and I HIGHLY recommend this rooftop for a wedding venue or just to hang out and watch a Cubs game.

Service: The service was at 5 starts. Everyone was helpful, friendly, and competent. Tim was great. I like to eat, so he was the one I saw the most of in the food line. LOL!
Location: 5 Starts. The view is GREAT!
Food: Several options… Allen Brothers Sirloin Steaks– Don’t expect to get a steak rare, med rare, med well, etc. These rare well done. :(Grilled Chicken Breast, Italian Beef Sandwiches, Chicago Style Hot Dogs, Grilled Bratwurst– These were good. Hamburgers and Cheeseburgers. They also have several sides. It’s like doing a bbq on your own deck. Don’t expect anything fancy.

Entry: Super easy access. They have you on their printed list. You show up, show your ID, and head on in. From there, it is unlimited drinking and food all the way through the 7^th inning, I believe.
Cost: $ 75-​$ 250. (Depending upon the time of year.) This was my first time on a rooftop, so I don’t know how it ranks in cost to the others.
Layout: Floor Two -(I think) The dining area was nice. Floor Three– The rooftop was bleacher style seating. *(No padding.)

Wrigleyville Rooftops repeatedly amazes me. I’ve been to all three of their locations and I can honestly say 3643 is my favorite! The view from right-​center field is breathtaking & you can see the entire game. The whole experience is one of a kind; from food, to cleanliness, friendly staff, & did I mention the view?! Everything is executed with precision beautifully.
The menu goes beyond the traditional ballpark items which helps cater to every audience imaginable. If you want a steak when you get there, you got it! If you’re a little hungry by the 7^th inning stretch & feel like a hot dog, they have a hot one waiting for you! To top it all off, there’s even dessert! Cookies, ice cream, brownies, oh my! Need something to wash it all down? You have a choice of water, soda, or several beers and wines. Talk about extensive, the Wrigleyville Rooftops knows the way to any baseball fan’s stomach!
The location is definitely what helps make this rooftop such a success. The view from right-​center field is to die for & there’s plenty of options for seating with an indoor dinning area as well as the rooftop area. Sitting or standing, you can comfortably watch the game and not worry about you beer being knocked over or how you’re going to manage holding your nachos & both of those hot dogs.
Overall, being atop a Wrigleyville Rooftop makes it hard not to be romantic about baseball. You just can’t help but lose yourself in the atmosphere of America’s favorite pastime. This is the place to be from April until October & hopefully one day well past that!

I’ve been to a few other rooftops (3 to be precise) for Cubs games. To be fair, the experience at these have been pretty good and I would assume the same goes for Wriglleyville Rooftops. A little pricey, but usually worth it.
This past Saturday, my girlfriend and I (along with 3 other couples) purchased rooftop tickets from these guys for the Brad Paisley concert. $ 75 a piece for a sweet country concert all the food and beer/​wine you can put down. Sounds pretty awesome right? Almost sounds too good to be true…
I think we all know the old adage about things seeming «too good to be true». It should be noted that we did our homework before making the purchase and were well aware that there was a good chance we wouldn’t be able to see the entire stage. We were prepared for that and ready to enjoy listening to Paisley, Miranda Lambert and a few other whilst enjoying delicious adult beverages and mediocre food.
It quickly became apparent that the «concert» element of the evening would consist of a muffled, echo-​y (that’s obviously a real word) mess. It literally felt like our neighbors were having a raging party and we were the only ones not invited.
We even spoke to an employee of the rooftop right next door (which was closed except for friends and family) and he claimed they didn’t sell tickets to Paisley due to the disappointment and backlash from their customers after a Paul McCartney show. So basically, even this guy understood how sub-​par the actual «concert» is. He actually put the Heat/​Celtics Game 7 on their flat screens so we at least had something to watch. So, kudos to that guy! He gets 5-​stars.
The reason Wrigleyville Rooftops is getting 1-​star is simple… it’s false advertising. If you buy tickets to a sporting event, concert, show etc., and your view is partially blocked, that ticket will definitely list «obstructed view». You are aware of the situation before making the purchase. I went back and read every piece of related literature Wrigleyville Rooftops had to offer (Terms of Service, The Actual Ticket, etc.). Nowhere does it mention a blocked view or even worse, ridiculously poor sound quality. All they need is a line SOMEWHERE, ideally before finalizing the purchase mentioning the less than ideal view/​sound. At least then consumers can make an informed decision.
Unilocal says 1-​Star means «Eek! Methinks not.»…I would have to agree.

I cannot say enough great things about Wrigleyville Rooftops! From the second you arrive to the final out of the game, the entire experience is simply phenomenal!
LOCATION/​LAYOUT: The building is located in right-​center field, which has a great view of the game without the hassle of the actual bleachers! Spacious dining area with plenty of seating for you and your friends. Clean bathrooms on both the dining and rooftop levels. Plenty of seating on the roof so you don’t feel like a stranger is sitting on your lap. Sitting or standing, the views and experience at 3643 is second to none!
FOOD/​DRINK: A++ for these guys! The food and drink selection is very impressive. When was the last time you were able to flag down a vendor for a steak or some salmon in the stadium? Never! How about ordering anything other than a Bud/​Light/​Old Style when the guy behind you kicked yours over? Didn’t think so. They also have delicious sides to accompany your meal and tasty desserts if you can still take more down. You can’t go wrong with their selection of eats and drinks!
STAFF: Forget the hassle of digging out your I.D. «You’re on the list!» Once you enter you’re given a lanyard (and a nice souvenir) to wear for the day. The bartenders and servers were very polite and courteous as well. Anything you wanted or needed was just a request away. They do a great job of making your experience as smooth and memorable as possible.
Overall, Wrigleyville Rooftops does a great job at making your out of the ballpark experience out of this world! For the price, you can’t beat it. Great for groups and work outings.
