Worthee

This is an update on my previous review. Our new sitter, Aya, is fantastic! I loved seeing updates with each visit and came home to watered plants, clean boxes, a clean floor (she swept up all of the cardboard filings from our scratchers even!), and most importantly, very happy and well-​adjusted kitties.
We are so glad that Worthee reached out to us and through awesome customer service, convinced us to try them again. Now we can vacation with no worries again :-)

We can’t say enough good about Worthee. We had adopted our pittie girl, Emmy, in November of last year and were scrambling to find a superior dog walking company with very short notice. I had a long day trip lined up for work and was extremely stressed about leaving my new dog without a walker… but Worthee pulled through! They were able to setup a meet & greet the very same day and we’ve been with them ever since.
Our original dog walker was great, but we now work with Stephane and she is nothing short of amazing. They also handled the transition between dog walkers wonderfully and coordinated the new meet&greet around our schedule.
The daily update and pictures explain our crazy girl’s personality to a T and always provide a good laugh in the middle of the day. The updates are definitely the highlight of my day everyday that Emmy is with Stephane. She goes above and beyond and we can rest assured she is in great hands.
We truly couldn’t be happier with our walker and Worthee’s service — would absolutely recommend!

So happy with the entire Worthee team. We had a great dog walker to start off with that unfortunately broke her ankle and (obviously) couldn’t continue the walks. The worst part was the timing as I was out of the country while it happened, which normally sounds likes «oh snap, disaster about to happen». But the Worthee team too care of everything seamlessly! They kept me up to date, had fill in dog walkers that were equally as trustworthy, loving, and fun as our originally walker. My dog was well taken care of and I really didn’t have to lift a finger other than shooting off a few emails letting them know that I was on board with their ideas to solve for who was going to come and walk the dog.
That service is hard to come by. I was never worried that something would go wrong because of their generous communication and ability to come through on their promise.
The end result — a stress free trip and a very happy pup. Thank you, Worthee! I can’t say enough good things about them.

I was a dog walker all throughout college with another agency. My clients LOVED getting picture messages and texts after I was done walking their pup. I thought I was pretty hot stuff and thus have generally high expectations for my fur babies.
Wow! Does Worthee surpass every expectation! The walker we assigned is a rock star who genuinely loves animals, customer service is great, and the online scheduling is great! During each visit, they send you an email with a short note on how the pups did. It really, really, brightens my office-​dwelling day when I get a note and pics of my two munchkins from my walker.
HIGHLY recommended!

I started with Worthee back in June. Sometimes I get caught at work and obviously we re not going to let Bosley go without being walked. I started with Brandon, who was very good. And now we have Ariel as a walker and he has been great with Bosley. He keeps me updated and his hours are flexible which is important to me. Thank you.

I signed up with Worthee at a stand in Lake Shore East park last year because I needed a private dog walk for my puppy while I was traveling. I appreciate the personal touch that comes with their services, and I trust few others in the same way.
Rocio did an excellent job, from the meet & greet through the report and follow-​up. My puppy was normally very calm and relaxed, and I was glad to find her safe and content when I returned.

Brandon was so accommodating with our crazy schedule. Our pup Molly has very happy and at ease with him. In addition to Brandon we had a dog trainor, Sarah. She was great at showing us how to socialize our 5 year old rescue dog. Now Molly is not as stressed when she encounters another dog. We are so grateful. Awesome service!

Worthee’s concept is great and two of the walkers we have worked with have been wonderful. We started with them in the early days and were patient through a few missteps since we liked the idea of supporting a local, growing business. Worthee continues to shift directions so we are moving on and thought it was also time to update this Unilocal review.
The biggest issue we have is that Worthee’s many changes and issues along the way have made it difficult to trust and rely on them to really care for our pup and home. There are been some small glitches (e.g. inconsistent invoicing /​bililng) but below are the two biggest issues we have experienced with Worthee:
— One of the Worthee walkers disappeared for a few days and the company handled it completely wrong — long story but it was stressful. This prompted us to ask for a new walker which in turn prompted Worthee to inform us that the old walker had lost our house keys + building fob weeks ago and had been sneaking into our building to walk our pup, leaving our home and building at risk for weeks.
— Worthee views themselves as a tech company first, dog walking service second. They encourage you to make updates via the website vs. individual walkers. The problem is that the site is glitchy and more than a few times walkers missed walks leaving our puppy home all day without a walk. Always felt bad that Worthee corporate would blame individual walkers for this system error. Something to also consider on this note, Worthee aspires to be the «Über of dog walking’. Meaning that instead of having a consistent walker you meet and who gets to know your dog, your pup could have a new walker every time a la Über.
All that said, as we move on from Worthee we will really miss our current walker who is so caring of our pup. Also like the email summaries from the walk that include two pictures and info about the visit.

Can’t say enough about this wonderful company!
Taylor did an amazing job setting up a cat sitting service over the Christmas holiday. She gave me all the information I needed to feel comfortable leaving my cat for the week. She was very thorough, pleasant and immediately responded to all of my inquiries.
Juan was my cat sitter. He was absolutely awesome! He checked in with me daily, sending pics and videos. He played with my cat, gave her lots of attention and made sure she had plenty of food & water! I felt so comfortable knowing that he was taking good care of her and I didn’t have to worry while I was away!
I could not be more pleased with this service and I would highly recommend using Worthee! :)

Worthee really is an amazing service. I’ve had great dog walkers before, but with Worthee I get so much more! I love the pics I get everyday from the walk; they brighten my afternoon at work, and the report from the walk always amuses me. I love hearing about my dog Pepper being scared of the blowup turkey down the street or wanting to make friends with everyone she meets. Pepper’s walker, Sarah, always puts thought into the reports and takes time to get great pictures of Pepper; they’ve become my favorites! Pepper and I are both very lucky to have Worthee and Sarah to take such great care of us.

We went through a few walkers before finding Andrea. She is amazing! She’s extremely attentive to every little detail about our little guy Poptart. I am a crazy dog mom so it’s great to finally find a company that makes me feel like I’m leaving my doggie in good hands. Working with this company has been super seamless as far as scheduling, payments, communication. They’re not kidding when they say they’re dog obsessed! Definitely recommend them to all my friends.

From the moment I reached out to Worthee they’ve been spectacular! Our Puppy, Roxy a now 5 month old Rottie LOVES Her walker, Sarah Koppel!
Sarah has been WONDERFUL both to Roxy and to our family. I would highly recommend Worthee AND Sarah. Sarah is always so understanding and accepting of situations that come up that are out of our control and works with us to best serve Roxy’s needs. She’s great!

I’ve been with Worthee since March of this year. They are both dog and customer focused. I interviewed many dog services before deciding to go with Worthee. The average company lacked basic customer service skills. For me if you don’t make an initial good impression, you most likely won’t be able to deliver the quality I need.
The personal touch is what really sets Worthee a part.
I have used 2 different walkers. Both have been amazing. They are caring, and genuinely concerned about the welfare of Sebastian.
Their rates are reasonable, including the overnight service.
Small companies can offer something larger companies can’t and that is focused service. As Worthee continues to grow, I hope they are able to keep their personal touch, and dedication to what they do, which is to create friendly pet environments when the owners are away.
I would highly recommend them if you are looking for the personal touch.

I learned about Worthee when they set up a station at the dog park. I explained that my six year old bichon needed help with a few issues, such as pulling, barking at the door, and reacting to children, skateboards, mops, and wheelchairs. I thought he may be too old to be trained but that’s not true. Sarah has been training my dog and I immediately saw results. Not only does she train my dog but she trains me on how to effectively communicate with my dog :) after the first session our walks were much more relaxing and less of a tug of war. My dog loves when Sarah comes by. She’s knowledgeable and really cares about dogs. She also recommended a different harness for my dog that has done wonders. Worthee is worth it!

Worthee is amazing!
The first time I used them it was a complete emergency, and I was struggling to find a dog walker that could come last minute. I dont even remember how I found worthee, but they responded immediately, and set me up with THREE walks for the very next day!
It was so last minute on my part, but handled so professionally by Worthee!
On top of that, they sent me a dog walker who is awesome! I ran into her while I was walking my pup, and he freaked out with happiness when he saw her. And I knew he loved her.

worthee is very on top of everything. i decided to change dog walkers and contacted a different company (not worthee). over a week later this company still hadn’t found a dog walker for me and i needed one in less than 2 days so i was freaking out. I contacted worthee and they had me set up with a walker that day. we’ve been using them for about a month and they have always been very prompt and responsive.

I could not be more pleased with the dog walking services provided by Worthee. My two pugs have been receiving twice weekly walks for the past month, giving me piece of mind, and getting them tuckered out during the day. I pick a 3-​hour window, and Jade our walker swings by the house. She keeps them out for about 30 minutes, and sends pics of their adventures via text or email with a status report. She also leaves a filled out ‘pawgress ’ report giving me details of how the walk went, and if they did #1 or #2 or both. That helps me gauge how their evening walk is going to go when I get home.
Jade’s love of the pups is evident, and I feel extremely secure knowing they are in good hands when she’s taking care of them. This is a great service, and I highly recommend trying them out.

I could not be happier with Worthee! My dog Murphy is a spicey, feisty little bad ass (who weighs only 15 lbs) and is definitely a bit suspect when he meets new people. Juan has been walking him at least 5x per week for a few months and has done a couple of overnights. Murphy’s behavior has improved significantly since Juan started taking care of him — less pulling and he’s getting more comfortable with other dogs when he’s on leash and even cozies up to new people now. Juan is wonderful and sends the cutest pictures of their adventures every day, complete with Murphy smiling a big goofy half-​smile that makes him look like Elvis and/​or gazing lovingly at Juan who is now his best buddy. Juan is also a dog jedi-​master of some kind and has offered a ton of suggestions to help Murphy with his social skills. He goes above and beyond and I am so grateful!
Worthee is a great company with stand out employees who are reliable, friendly and so good with even the biggest canine troublemakers (who come in small packages!) Thanks Juan and Worthee!

I’ve been using Worthee as my dog walking service for a little over a month now, and I could not be happier. My dog, Smeagol, usually gets walked at least 4 times a week. He loves his dog walker, Michael. I was home one day when Michael arrived and Smeagol was jumping and barking with joy when he saw Michael.
Leah was absolutely fantastic when explaining the services to me and setting up a meet and greet. Worthee as a whole is great about touching base periodically and seeking feedback about any questions or concerns I may have. After every walk, I have a «report card» waiting at home and I am emailed a picture taken that day of Smeagol. These two things are a fantastic way of letting me know that Smeagol is being taken care of each time Michael and Worthee come to walk him.
I also love that Worthee offers overnight pet sitting. I travel on occasion for work and love the option of leaving Smeagol in his home rather than boarding him. Next time I travel out of town, I am using this option for sure.
Bottom line is that both Smeagol and I love Worthee and I would recommend it to any of my friends.

Wish there were more than 5 stars to give because Worthee definitely deserves them!
Our experience with Worthee has been amazing from the start. After sending through an inquiry, Leah immediately responded with thoughtful questions about our pup, and was quick to set up a meet and greet at our home so that we could meet Rich and Sarah, the two dog walkers covering our neighborhood. It was great to be able to meet them and tell them about our dog’s little idiosyncrasies. We now schedule walks whenever work runs late or we have an evening event, and Leah is great about accommodating our requests even when they’re last-​minute. The walkers clearly love our dog almost as much as we do, and always send a fun pic of him and leave notes on how he did on the walk. Both Rich and Sarah go above and beyond, they’re amazing!
We have also used Worthee’s over-​night service for when we are out of town, and it has been a game-​changer. Previously, we had boarded our dog, which was a nightmare for him. The experience was so visibly stressful for him, and in turn for us. Now, he is able to stay in his own home and have one of his friends Rich or Sarah come over to keep him company. Coming home to a happy dog means the world to us, and we are very thankful to Worthee for that!
