Our massage therapists are extremely talented, personable, and strong. You will receive one of the best massages you’ve ever had… in any increment of time you’d like from 5 to 60 minutes.

Working Well Massage’s corporate office is located at 325 W. Huron, Suite 308. We provide on site chair massage services as well as in home massages. Feel free to call us to set up a massage session in your office or home! Call us at 773−206−9676. We also have a chair station at the Lincoln Park Whole Foods Market.

History

Established in 2000.

Working Well Massage began as a corporate chair massage company and has expanded into Whole Foods Markets in the Chicago area. WWM has had a chair station inside Whole Foods Gold Coast since 2002 and now offers professional therapeutic massages inside Whole Foods Lincoln Park seven days a week from 12−8pm. WWM offers corporate chair massage and provides a free wellness blog at «work​ing​well​re​sources​.com».

Working Well® Massage was established by Sue Shekut, Licensed Massage Therapist, in 2000. Sue opened the Working Well® Massage Station at Whole Foods Market™ Gold Coast location in 2001, providing shoppers with easy access to quick, affordable massage, and massage therapists with a means to meet new clients. After great success with the chair massage stations, Working Well® Massage expanded to bring chair massage to the workplace and to special events, helping Chicago-​area companies combat the stress and muscle pain of their staff. In 2009, we opened our Whole Foods Market™ Lincoln Park location and continue to grow our Team.

Saw David K at the whole foods on Huron and he chose not to listen to what I wanted. In fact, he never asked in the beginning, I had to offer the information myself. Called their office to say that this was the 2nd time I had him that he told me «you must have been wrestling alligators» when I didn’t even ask him to work on my shoulders. He said he knew what was best. The offices answer to this was «well I suggest you don’t see David K again». How about suggesting a credit of my 15 minutes with another masseuse that listens and isn’t a know it all! Very disappointed.

After what I thought was a great massage, I noticed a place where David was trying to work out a knot that I now have a tingling sensation and the feeling has not returned for months now. I know I should’ve probably said something at the time about how painful it was, so I definitely accept part of the blame here, but it definitely is troubling that I was personally injured.

O. M. G. I went on a Friday evening to get a quick massage, and I tell you what… I’d had a pinched nerve in my neck for at least 3 – 4 weeks, and hadn’t had any relief whatsoever… Yuri put his hands on my upper back and within 2 minutes, all pain melted away. I signed up for a 20 minute «complete retreat», and when it was over I asked if he’d be there the next day and he said he only worked Wednesdays and Fridays… So I asked him for another 20 minutes! I would fly back to Chicago twice a month just to sit in his chair in the corner of Whole Foods.

You have got to go get a massage by Andy. I know he works on Thurs and Fri (I think from 12 – 4 but I am not sure) on Huron. He also works at the North Ave location on Wed I believe. He is by far the best massage therapist I’ve ever had. I have been going to him for approx 7 yrs; I try to find him at Whole Foods whenever I have a bit of neck or back strain. And I am always fine after leaving WF and Andy. He is the best! He also works at a few other place, so find him somewhere.

This will be my new favorite quick massage go-​to! I was a little reluctant to receive a chair massage in the back of Whole Foods but was pleasantly surprised. I had David for 10 minutes and it was great. My only suggestion would be for some type of curtain to make it more private. I’ll definitely be going back there!

Make sure you get comfortable! I’ve had one where my face wasn’t properly positioned and it wasn’t as great. Otherwise, hit this place up! Have no fears about getting a massage in the corner of Whole Foods. The best thing is you can grab a bite to eat afterwards.

i can honestly say without a doubt that i have probably gotten one of the best massages i have ever received in my life from her. hands down.
she knew EXACTLY what to do. she constantly checked in to make sure i was comfortable and helped me drastically.
i cannot say enough about her. she is a person who takes her career very seriously. you know because she instills confidence every second of the time. i knew right off the bat i was literally «in good hands.»
if you are experiencing any sort of issue going on with your body that you think a massage would benefit, i cannot speak highly enough about sue.

If you’re hesitant about stopping by a massage booth at Whole Foods, I was once like you. Here, let me put your fears to rest.
I was afraid that I’d feel self conscious and awkward in the middle of the grocery store. It turned out to SO not be the case– I was behind a small screen and felt completely comfortable. I didn’t realize how much strain my canvas grocery bag puts on my shoulders– after 15 minutes in the chair, I felt totally refreshed and was standing noticeably straighter.
My therapist was pleasant, not overly chatty (I hate when massage therapists won’t stop gabbing) and listened to my concerns. The owner clearly hires reputable, intelligent and skilled therapists at this booth– and the therapist I had seemed to really love her job, which made it all the more pleasant.
All in all — for under twenty bucks, getting the tension erased from your body in a low-​intensity setting (with no appointments necessary)? Do yourself a favor and stop by the next time you’re at Whole Foods.

A few weeks ago I had the distinct pleasure of receiving a chair massage from Gustavo. Having never received a chair massage before I was, to be honest, a bit skeptical. But Gustavo was extremely friendly, listened very carefully to my needs (I have had shoulder problems for years) and calmed all of my apprehensions. The massage he gave me was very effective my shoulder was pain free for days afterward and even now the pain is much more mild than usual. I have never had a more effective massage. Gustavo has definitly earned himself a regular customer.

I sooo wish I came here more often. Andrew is amazing. Simply put. I had a 15 minute chair massage with him this past Saturday and floated away on cloud nine. Despite the noise of the crowed Whole Foods, totally make an effort to better your health and get a chair massage here! It’s a dollar a minute well spent.
