Great little park. Just not enough that the kids can really run around and roam but small enough that you don’t feel like you need to have your eye on them every single second. Nice heavy fencing to keep kids in, lots of seating and tables for picnics. Fun for tiny kids all the way up to about 11 years old. The water element area is fun even though it’s not big. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn’t crowded at all. Can’t wait to return!

This park is great. I have lived in the apartment complex next door for a year and every time I walk by the park I see families and kids having fun. The play area has a jungle gym and a miniature train, swing-sets and the works. The park even has water-park area that is fun for young ones. It is in a very safe area and is fenced in. It is not too small nor too crowded.

On an extremely hot May day we were on the search for a park with a water spray. After striking out at Adams Park(their water park doesn’t open til mid June and has strange hours) we drove around and found ourselves at Weisman Park. There’s a ton for little ones to do here, but my 1 ½ year old couldn’t get enough of the water playground. She jumped thru the water in her bathing suit and really enjoyed the water toys(beach ball, pail, shovels, etc), which I’m assuming belonged to other park attendees. The park was full of happy kids… most of the toddlers enjoying the water spray. We also had no trouble finding a parking spot right outside, which is a must if I’m going to visit parks outside of our neighborhood. Visiting Weisman is a no-brainer if you’re in the neighborhood, but it’s also worth the drive on an especially hot day.
