I switched my drug insurance to Walgreens from CVS and am I sorry! I was overcharged $ 32.12 for the very first prescription I filled. My drug insurance plan confirmed this. Now I’m having trouble getting the refund from Walgreens. After calling the pharmacy and being on hold for 10 minutes or so I was told that the pharmacy didn’t know how to process a refund. Really? I expected better of Walgreens. I find that the pharmacy staff doesn’t care – the customer service is terrible. Boy, do I miss the care and concern from the pharmacists at CVS! Get your act together, Walgreens.

Dear Walgreens, you folks advertise that customers can be in and out FAST. Well, this has not been the case at most Walgreens I have visited. I went in to get couple bottles of Dawn dish detergent. I usually carry my manufacturer’s coupons with me, but I did not do so today. I wanted to redeem my points. Rarely do they take the initiatives to ask me if I would like use all or some of the points. Anyways, I expressed my interest to use all of my points today and paid 16 cents. Here is the core of the issue in terms of their efficiency of check-out: a customer before me had an inquiry regarding her points; she thought she should have earned more points to get to the 10,000 pt level. However, she didn’t reach it. the clerk was explaining to her, patiently, but it took two(2) minutes and I should have been on my way to my next mission if there was another cashier available. I don’t mind waiting, yet you guys should provide another person to open another register. I was the only customer behind the complaining lady. By the time the lady left, there were two(2) customers behind me with bigger purchases. I have never been truly satisfied with any Walgreens in their customer service, efficiency, and items in stock. But a large corporation, after all, will still dominate. You will still see me with my coupons.

I’ve been to many a Walgreens and this is one of my least favorite, especially due to this one woman who works in the pharmacy. She was rude and not very friendly when I spoke to her about my prescription on the phone and in person, she was the exact same way. The check-out cashier’s can be hit or miss. I had to wait for a cashier to finish texting his friend while I stood directly in front of him waiting to check out. I get that it’s an entry-level job, but serious can you not put down your phone for 2 minutes? For you car owners who need charging, they do have charging stations in the parking lot.
