History

Established in 2010.

Daniel Voelker has established a reputation as a highly effective trial attorney, a skilled negotiator and a legal advisor with exceptional financial savvy. Litigating for over 29 years, Dan has previously been called a «litigation powerhouse» by the Chicago Tribune. Before opening his own firm, Dan co-​chaired the Litigation Practice Groups of two large law firms; Freeborn & Peters LLP, and Schwartz & Freeman (now known as Michael Best & Friedrich LLP). Prior to that, Mr. Voelker was an equity partner for many years at a large national firm, Seyfarth Shaw.

Business Owner

Dan Voelker opened his own firm after over 29 years of experience being partner and equity shareholders for several large, highly prominent law firms in Chicago. He is also a certified public accountant (CPA) with over 30 years of experience. Dan has been recognized as being AV rated through Martindale-​Hubbell and has been selected for inclusion in Leading Lawyers in Illinois and Illinois Super Lawyers every year since 2009. In addition to these recognitions, Mr. Voelker has authored sections of The Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education’s (IICLE®) 2012 edition of Business and Commercial Litigation and has taught International Commercial Litigation and Arbitration as an adjunct law professor at his alma mater, Chicago-​Kent College of Law. Dan Voelker has also served as an instructor for the National Institute for Trial Advocacy.
