V1 Nails

This nail salon is immaculately clean. They use liners for the pedicure bowls and sponges and scraping tools once and get thrown away. The employees are very nice. Tammi does a great job on gel nails. It’s great to finally have a nice clean nail place in oak Park!

My friend recommended this place to me so I went last night for a mani/​pedi. I have nothing but great things to say about it and I would recommend anyone I know to go there, even if it is out of your way.
The very first thing I noticed is they put plastic liners in the sinks. Such a nice touch and made me feel like it was way more sanitary than all of the other nail salons I have been to in Oak Park. And not just that, but they also use a fresh file and pumice stone/​sponge for every customer. Another huge mark in my book! Normally you only get that with pedicures that cost double that at high end salons.
And talk about cost, they are right in line with every other nail salon in Oak Park. Plus they do little extra touches like use sea salt in their scrub, and then a combination of lotion and oil for the massage.
Another huge thing is their loyalty program. On your 6^th visit, you get a pedicure free! What a great incentive! I’ve seen a free manicure after a certain amount of visits, but a free pedicure? What’s not to love?
Great selection of polishes… super friendly staff… cozy massage chairs…
I’ve found my new «go to» spot in Oak Park and I hope you give it a shot too. You won’t be sorry.
Side Note: The address is incorrect on Unilocal currently. The salon is at 6806 North Ave in the strip mall where Oak Park Ave intersects with North Ave. Right next to Cake Bros.

This place makes me so happy, finally a great nail salon in the Oak Park area. I swear that I have been to them all and this one is impeccably clean — like out of this world. They use plastic changing sheets each time you get a pedi, each person gets their own set of disposable sponges and scraping tools.
Their selection of polishes in gel and regular is up to date, clean and relevant… Not tons of colors you would never choose.
The owner has been so polite and friendly without being pushy to me the whole time I’ve been here. Oh, did I mention my toes are drying as I type this? Yes a lovely bottle of water offered to me and all for the same price you pay at the cheapie ones.
Highly recommend. Parking lot in front with lots of spots.
