Tom Tuohy is a practicing attorney, author, and founder of Dreams for Kids, a 25 year international youth empowerment organization.

Tom Tuohy served as Special Assistant Attorney General of Illinois and founded Tuohy Law Offices in 1982. His firm has represented over 14,000 individuals and is recognized as one of the top labor firms and provides legal education seminars to municipal employees, members of unions and to the general public.

Mr. Tuohy has received the prestigious A/​V Rated Award, Highest Possible Rating for Legal and Ethical Standards for 14 consecutive years, 2002 –2013 and highest AVVO ¹⁰⁄₁₀ Superb Attorney Rating.

As a son of a single parent, Tom chose to reach out to at-​risk youth and later to kids with disabilities. He founded Dreams For Kids in 1989. Working with the most isolated youth in every community inspired Tom to create an award winning social enterprise based youth service and leadership curriculum that emphasizes opportunity over charity.
